I make this in a French Press, but could be made with drip coffee. For hot milk, I use a glass milk-frother. Heat milk in microwave and use plunger to froth lightly. Strain milk into coffee, remove lid, and put some foam on top of coffee.

    Recipe #203888

I'm not really a tea drinker but the tea in this punch is so subtle that I really enjoy it. The blackcurrant & vanilla mix really well with the apple juice & the mineral water gives it a slight tingle which is really refreshing.

    Recipe #228917

Love this recipe as it's not too sweet. This is a favorite for Spring and Summer gatherings. Prep time includes chilling.

    Recipe #119238

It’s often difficult to find aquavit here in the liquor stores of the United States. So if you have a hankering for that potent liquor, here’s a substitute for you. :) You can experiment with all sorts of flavors, not just caraway. Recipe adapted from "Kitchen of Light: New Scandinavian Cooking with Andreas Viestad" by Andres Viestad. Prep time includes infusion.

I found this recipe on the internet. It was developed by Richard Sterling and is his version of how the Spaniards transformed Montezuma's favorite beverage.

    Recipe #115078

An unusual and tasty take on hot chocolate! From the Oregonian FoodDay section, Tuesday, December 21, 2004.

    Recipe #114925

A nice, refreshing simple drink from "Everyday Italian" with Giada De Laurentiis. Adapted because her version featured a homemade lime-based limoncello.

    Recipe #114919

One of my friends in the SCA (who is also the Baron of Blatha an Oir), has been making this power-packed punch of a drink for years. His horn is usually full of it, and he's generous with the sharing. :) I keep forgetting the formula, so I recently asked him for it, again. "It's a secret formula. I can tell ya, but then we gotta k... you know..." That Sven, such a kidder! ;)

    Recipe #114914

I'm actually going to "The Little House on the Prairie cookbook with this one. I was threshing hay the other day (ok, actually I was mowing the lawn, but close enough), and thought I'd try it - the ginger and the vinegar give it a nice tang. If the vinegar is a bit much, you can add less vinegar or mix it with ginger ale.

Regardless of what Rob calls it, this eggnog is far from ordinary! Very, very rich, you'll want to serve this one to adults only. Guaranteed to impress! My friend Rob Lowry shared this recipe with me for one of my Christmas collection cookbooks a few years back. Prep time includes chilling.

    Recipe #107009

    Great party or holiday punch.

    Recipe #34181

We love keeping this on hand for the cold nights and when company comes over. You can even leave the alcohol out for the kids. My daughter loves it for a treat.

    Recipe #13267

This recipe comes from a Southern Living Christmas Recipe book. Timing does not include chilling.

    Recipe #105504

Recipe from Molto Mario and posted in response to a request. I make this every Christmas as hostess gifts and put it in pretty bottles with ribbon. Everyone who gets this is very appreciative. In Italy this is considered a "lemon digestive assistant" - whatever it tastes great!

    Recipe #43874

I love the movie "Chocolat" and in it they serve a very rich looking hot chocolate. I came across this when I was in a rush and misread the measurements for another recipe. It's wonderful! Very rich.

    Recipe #14939

This a summer staple at our house, in French homes and on cafe terraces. A very thirst-quenching and refreshing drink, the taste will grow on you. Pernod is the brand name of the French licorice-flavored liqueur pastis, and you can find it under either of these names, as well as Ricard. It is traditionally served to you in two parts: the pernod with two ice cubes, in a special glass that is broader at the top than at the bottom; and a small pitcher of water so that you can mix it as strongly or weakly as you wish. I've listed here the classic combination.

    Recipe #93483

A rich and wonderful (and easy!) addition to your holiday parties, folks will be asking you for this "secret" recipe. :)
