This is a wonderful and simple to prepare comfort food using things you probably already have around. Kids love it- but so do adults. At least, in this home. Try it. It is one of my quick and easy favorites. This is my first submitted recipe... be kind.
I love my brother's grilled chicken and for years, he would never give up the recipe. I finally whined him to death so here it is. I don't think he wanted me to know how easy it is to make. Marinates overnight.
Here's a recipe for nice, somewhat sweet tasting chicken breasts. The recipe, as given below, was found at Kraft Foods, but I usually substitute my homemade stuffing made with whole grain winter wheat bread cubes, & when making it for this recipe, I usually add to the stuffing at least a teaspoon of orange zest.
This is a Crisco recipe for barbecued chicken. The chicken may be grilled or broiled, and you may use flattened chicken breasts instead of a mix of white and dark meat if you so desire. Prep time includes time to simmer the sauce which can be made ahead.
This recipe was on the back of a bottle of Heinz 57 Sauce years ago and I lost the recipe. It recently popped back up in an Ore Ida ad for their grillers. The chicken is so easy and tastes so good, so I'm putting it in Food.com for safe keeping.
Another recipe that I found on Taste of Home that I would like to try soon. Here is what the author state: "I got this grilled chicken recipe from a friend while living in Hawaii. It sizzles with the flavors of brown sugar, ginger and soy sauce. Huli mean "turn" in Hawaiian. —Sharon Boling, Coronado, California." This serves a lot, so feel free to scale it back if needed.
This is my first recipe - please be kind! My kids love it and when I take it to a BBQ everyone wants the recipe. It is a variation on one I found in epicurious a while ago. It is very easy and very yummy!!
