Love this one! This got rave reviews at the picnic I brought it to. It's called picnic chicken because it even tastes good cold. It takes a bit of time to marinate but it is worth it.The prep time includes 24 hours in the fridge. Found this on recipelink.
This is my favorite comfort food. Along with my alfredo sauce, "Recipe #333383" there's nothing better. I make this all the time for family, by request, and holidays. And who doesn't love chicken alfredo?! It's great for company cause it makes such a big pot and taste a lot better then what you find a Olive Garder, or so says my husband.
Delicious, impressive, and EASY! A friend of mine from work shared this recipe...The first time I made it for someone, they remarked, "This tastes like something you would eat at a wedding!" I often serve it with rice or french bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
This is like the lemon chicken you get from your Chinese take-out place. The egg, cornstarch, and baking powder coating is extra light and crispy. No msg or flour involved! And remember, Zaar calculates fat and calories from the ingredient list...you won't consume all the oil listed in the recipe! Note: Marinating time is included in prep time.
If you love good, old-fashioned, down home chicken and dumplings, this is the real thing! Note that this dumpling recipe makes "a bunch of dumplin's" because around here, most folks want more dumplin's than chicken. (prep time includes cooling time for cooked chicken.)
