This recipe is from Giada De Laurentiis from her show Giada at Home on the Food Network. These are perfect to be made with/for kids or when you want to feel like one. You must like raspberries though as the homemade syrup mixed with raspberry sherbet and fresh raspberries pack a punch. If you have a large quantity of raspberries to use this is ideal. Check on the special glasses etc needed below. Feel like a kid again. enjoy! ChefDLH

These are cookies from Austria with origins in Italy. Great when you want a cookie from around the world. They are crisp and delicate lacy like cookies when put together with chocolate make a sandwich cookie. It is meant to be crisp. Traditional Florentines have fruit in them but these are the chocolate version. This recipe is from Nestle and saves oodles of time by microwaving the chocolate rather than using a double broiler. Enjoy these they are a hit.

This comes from her Open House cookbook and is a no brainer dessert. Please don't sub in any of the ingredients because they are made to go together to get the right flavor. This is a great end to a mexican meal. I made enchiladas, mexican salad and served this as a dessert. It was nice and light. Guests liked it a lot and talked about its unique flavor. It is not meant to be a heavy dessert. Yum-O. Enjoy. ChefDLH

This recipe is one I got from a magazine but thought it would be perfect for kids parties and events. Nothing ties kids together like having sameness and this achieves that plus is fun to make and eat. This recipe is for one necklace so times it by how many kids you will have. Experiment with the candy colors and flavors for necklaces that suit you and your event. Enjoy! ChefDLH

Sweet treats for anytime or occasion. For the kids or dinner parties. This recipe comes from Real Simple February 2009. In 10 minutes you have a great dessert or sweet snack with few ingredients. We made them for the holidays and topped with green sprinkles but you can top with anything your heart desires. The site wouldn't let me use just topping so I had to put ice cream topping but there is no ice cream involved here. You get the idea though. Enjoy this little ditty. ChefDLH
