This is a no bake cheesecake recipe from the book, The Recipe Hall of Fame Cookbook. Everyone at our house loves cheesecake! And this looks scrumptious. Preparation time does not include chilling time.
Two of my favorite things...peanut butter and hot fudge. This is a delicious pie. I tried it out the first time at a church social and it was an instant hit. I was asked to make it again the next day for a football party.
A very simple pie that's sooo delicious. Easy to change to suit your tastes...instead of milk chocolate chips try...white chocolate, peanut butter, peanut butter & chocolate, or butterscotch! I've tried them all!
I got this recipe from sparkpeople.com. but altered it alittle using spenda and egg whites instead of the sugar and the entire egg. They are great for soothing that sweet tooth and built in portion control.
I have been making this for years and it is easy to make and so good. It makes quite a large cheesecake. I sometimes use light cream cheese to save on calories but don't sub with skim condensed milk or the cheesecake won't set. Gelatine is not needed it is the lemon juice that sets this cheesecake. I don't really know how long this takes from start to finish but it is easy so therefore quick to make, the chilling and decorating takes up most of the time. I have estimated 10 mins to make and about 20mins to decorate. Haven't counted time to set.
