I have been using this method for 30 years, no more thin runny whipped cream and your whipping cream will hold up for days this, is fabulous on cakes --- for 2 cups whipping cream use 2 tsp gelatin in 2 tbsp cold water.
Classic chocolate sauce. Very rich, and wonderful, as long as you use good quality chocolate. You can modify it by adding a tablespoon of Gran Marnier, Baileys, or any other flavoring to jazz it up a bit.
This is the consummate cheesecake. You won't want any other's after you've had this one. I like to take my ingredients out on Friday morning before work and bake it Friday night when it's cool and quiet. That way it's ready to serve early Saturday.
There used to be a restaurant here in PR that had the BEST mango cheesecake but the rest. closed down. A friend got me the recipe, so I actually modified it quite a bit and came out with something even better than the original! So, here is a little taste of Puerto Rico, enjoy!
Layered chocolate & plain batter. One of my ideas for a holiday cheesecake... remember not to whip too much air into the batter, and don't peek in the oven while it's baking to keep a constant humidity.
I love this cheesecake recipe it's my favorite. The crust is so easy and so good.Just work with the crust a little until it's nice and crumbly, add a tablespoon or more butter if needed. The original recipe calls for 1/4 cup melted butter and I usually add a few extra tablespoons of butter, so I ajusted the recipe, fill free to add more if you think it looks to dry. The crust when done right, is what makes this cheesecake recipe stand out from all the others. I got this recipe from a coworker.
This is similar to a cheesecake filling but there is no baking involved. I make this every week for my husband as he loves it so much. I make it low fat by using Splenda. He eats this every night and has still managed to lose 30 pounds. I serve with fresh strawberries and whipped cream to make it look like a sundae.
I made this cheesecake to bring to the office and they loved it! I'm new to cheesecake making and found this one very easy and it turned out wonderfully. Plan ahead, prep time does not include overnight chilling time. I found this in a TOH magazine, it's originally from Gretchen Ely in West Lafayette, Indiana. Thanks Gretchen!
This is a decadent, moist cheesecake that never fails. I got the recipe from my sister-in-law who brings it to every family function. There are never any leftovers!
*This cheesecake needs to be made and refrigerated one day in advance.
Hope you enjoy!
I feel sad for anyone who has never been to a Cheesecake Factory restaurant. This cheesecake is out of this world! I think you will find the nut crust quite unusual. Sometimes I double the crust portion of the recipe just so I can have a thicker crust.
