This recipe comes from Paula Deen. I couldn't find one exactly like this on Food.com and wanted to incorporate it into my weekly meal planning. One of my co workers made it and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved it.

    Recipe #512959

Just saw Guy Fieri make this on Guy's Big Bite, Episode: Kentucky Klassics and wanted to make it not using alcohol. So here it is. The recipe makes 2 cups of simple syrup, so you can easily make more than 1 drink.

    Recipe #494209

Michael Simon says this dish is inspired by his mom, so of course it is Greek! Michael likes to leave the skin on the carrots because they really pick up the char well when the sugar in the carrots superheats in the pan. Dressing the carrots while they are hot allows them to soak up some of the vinaigrette. This works as an appetizer on it's own or as a side to roasted lamb or grilled fish. From the cookbook The Chew Food Life Fun.

    Recipe #492621

Full of protein and complex carbs and low in fat, just the thing for a warrior going into battle, or an average American returning from cooporate combat and looking for something quick and easy for dinner. Got this fromt the Chew cookbook, by Daphne Oz. Right up my alley!

    Recipe #491072

I watched this on Martha Bakes and it looked so good I am posting it for safekeeping. :) The bulgar has to be soaked for 30 minutes in boiled water and then cooled and the wheat berries have to be soaked overnight and cooked for 90 minutes and cooled. So, it takes some time in preparation to make the bread. But it is worth the extra effort.

    Recipe #479850

I watched Alton make this on The Best Thing I Ever Made. Posting here to make when it turns cooler. :) If you like, you can leave out the cheese to make this vegan.

    Recipe #478806

An easy coleslaw with a yummy mayonnaise dressing with an Asian twist. Adapted from Dave Lieberman's cookbook, "Young and Hungry".

    Recipe #476412

The garlic onion stack turned out to be one of the number one selling appetizers at Johnny Garlic's restaurant, owned by Guy Fieri. This is from his cookbook, Guy Fieri's Food. Guy says this isn't difficult, but allow yourself enough time(it has to sit 12-24 hours in fridge) . Enjoy!

    Recipe #475756

This recipe uses pancake batter to coat apple rings, then fried to perfection with an apple cider syrup! You can substitute whole wheat pancake batter or make your own. I have added my own recipe for apple cider syrup. The original called for reducing the cider by half and gave no amounts. This one is much quicker and yummy. I didn't have Bisquick, so made my own from a recipe on this site, substituting about 1/3 of the flour with whole wheat flour. From Carla Hall on the new ABC program, the Chew. Hootie!

    Recipe #466043

Spanish in origin, it is still to this day eaten in Spain for breakfast. I don't eat much fried foods anymore, but I would eat this. Gleaned from Bobby Flay, from his show Brunch at Bobby's, Episode: Siesta Fiesta, pretty much word for word.

    Recipe #454368

From Restaurant: Impossible, Episode: Villari's, this looks so good! It uses goat cheese instead of the usual mozzarella. Putting here for safekeeping. You can use the marinara sauce recipe posted here, or use one of your choice, even store bought. If using the recipe here, it does need to cook one hour, so might want to plan accordingly.

    Recipe #452169

Using leftover chicken makes this ecomical and easy! Just saw this on Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa d'Arabian Episode: Cost-Cutting Comfort and it looks so good, and something I might make for my kids, or for me making it vegetarian!

    Recipe #452159

From Food & Wine magazine, here's what they say: I doubt Mark Wahlberg ate this macaroni salad to get into such sick shape to play champion boxer Micky Ward in his film The Fighter. But thanks to his brother, chef Paul Wahlberg, we’ve got the recipe for the Wahlberg family macaroni salad. Mark says that no one makes the dish as well as their mother, Alma. But you can try by making their recipe for yourself! Or go to Paul’s cool new Mediterranean-Italian restaurant, Alma Nove in Hingham, Massachusetts, where the macaroni salad is on his menu at his brother’s request. At least in pasta salad season in summer. I have tweeked this just a little. Feel free to add olives, more veggies, etc. Enjoy!

    Recipe #447387

I have put up Ina Garten's recipe from Barefoot in London for White Chocolate Lollipops, but also variations for dark chocolate from the chocolate shop in London where she got the idea. Enjoy! You will need lollipop stick or popsicle sticks.

    Recipe #444327

Just saw this being made on Aarti's Party-new top chef winner! Had to share :)

    Recipe #437153

A recipe that will delight the kids, not to mention dad! These would be good for halloween too, they look like little octopuses! From the episode A Plate for Pop by Rachael Ray on 30 Minute Meals.

    Recipe #430199

I saw Adam Gertler gush over this on The Best Thing I Ever Ate show on the food channel. It's from Euro Pane restaurant in Pasadena, California. Here's the recipe based on the cook's description.

    Recipe #428492

From Sandra's Money Saving Meals, she uses the portobello mushroom stems from Recipe #425652 to make the filling for these yummy zucchini boats.

    Recipe #427425

I went to B.B. King's club in New York City to see Johnny Winter play and enjoyed it so much! In honor of B.B. I am posting his German Chocolate Cake! Adapted from recipegoldmine. UPDATE: Due to a helpful review, I have added more chocolate to the ingredients.

    Recipe #414388

This is Pat Neely's recipe and he likes it hot! He seasons both the wings and the batter with cayenne, red pepper flakes, black pepper and even a little hot sauce. Can you take the heat? From Down Home with the Neely's cookbook.
