Recipe #176616

I love this soup! My kids like it pureed really smooth, but I tend to like it a little "lumpier." You can puree it as smooth as you like.

This kosher recipe is posted for the World Tour 2005 RecipeZaar event. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to soon. The source is the Hadassah Jewish Holiday Cookbook - Traditional Recipes from Contemporary Kosher Kitchen - this contribution was from Marc Schwartz, New Haven Hadassah in Connecticut.

From the cookbook Arabian Delights. This is a Saudi Arabian dish known as qarnabeed bil kuzbara. The recipe calls for Middle Eastern (also known as Turkish) red pepper and if you can get it then you are very lucky indeed. If not, substitute 3 parts paprika to 1 part cayenne. I think this would taste wonderful with either broccoflower or romanesco instead of cauliflower. Very spicy!

This is such a refreshing way to use cauliflower. I can eat the whole thing by myself...and sometimes I do. This is also nice with some chopped nuts sprinkled on top. UPDATE: On 01/14/08 I made this the way Rita describes....cooking it all together but upping the apple juice with 2 more tbsp It worked well and cuts out a step. Thanks Rita, for a lovely idea!

Three peppers goes into this recipe. Chipotle, fire roasted, and dried paprika. You can't say your cauliflower is bland!

Recipe #115751

This is based on the recipe by Bob Blumer from the "Surreal Gourmet Bites" cookbook. This simple caramelization method transforms this much maligned veggie into a knock-your-socks-off side dish or sweet snack that you won't be able to get enough of!

I find it totally amazing, that children and men ALL LOVE THIS RECIPE! As for the Female of our species we just love this for the flavor and the health benefits it brings our families. Roasted brings out a wonderful sweetness in this dish. The Garlic is roasted to a tan color is creamy good. You can just pop them in your mouth. Or you can spread them on your florets or fresh bread. Just be sure to scoop up some of the rosemary, olive oil and black pepper that may have escaped to the bottom of the dish. For Halloween check out Recipe #396674 version of my recipe.

I actually won a cash prize in our local paper for this recipe. My husband and I will eat the whole thing ourselves - make several if you're having guests. If someone you love doesn't care for cauliflower, this may be the ticket!

I made this last night for a potluck at the home of a low-carbing friend. I think it's pretty tasty, but what wouldn't taste good with an entire stick of butter and a full cup of sour cream?

This is comfort food in a hurry, rich and satisfying. Perfect for you low carbers out there.
