This recipe from Paula Deen of Food Network couldn't be easier. It seems like a LOT of black pepper, but trust me--it works. You get it all over your fingers as you shell the shrimp and eat them, so have some wet wash cloths rolled up and ready. This cooks up in just a few minutes, so have the rest of your dinner ready before you start (I suggest a hearty salad and bread).
This recipe is Fabulous. If you like garlic and spicy, this recipe is for you. "The Best Recipes in the World" by Mark Bittman is a great cookbook; he loves to keep it simple, so do I. This cookbook will be used a lot! He says although this recipe is a perfect weeknight dish (it certainly is), this also make a great appetizer at a dinner party (your guests will love you). The smell in your house makes you want to take a bite out of the air...
Delicious and so easy!! This recipe has been nominated by the family to be in our top 10. It's an easy weeknight meal, but good enough to serve for entertaining. This dish is meant to be served over just plain white long grain rice, but really any rice will do. I made a green salad and fried up some tostones to go along with it. So good! This recipe is from the cookbook "The One Armed Cook" ( a cookbook for young moms with small children). This is a great cookbook and I have no small children at home. I double the recipe for my family.
Recipe is originally from the Food Network courtesy of Rachael Ray, but I tweaked it to fit our tastes. Very quick & easy shrimp recipe that's done on the stovetop. If your tastes desire spicy & garlic, then this recipe is just for you.
This is really good. Use large, fresh shrimp for best results (peel before cooking). This comes from one of my favorite diet cookbooks, modified to our tastes. Serve over brown rice for a delicious and complete meal.
Don't let some of the ingredients fool you -- this spicy shrimp makes a simple, impressive dish, which I usually make for company. For more or less heat, adjust amount of red pepper. Serve over hot steamed rice.
Thick and Creamy! The sauce is just like the tasty alfredo sauces in italian restaurants. Easy and very well flavored. We enjoy this quite often either with shrimp or chicken. The bits of a plum tomato on top blends well with the creamy sauce and adds flavor. A pretty and wonderful dish!!!
This takes no time at all to prepare. It looks like you've cooked all day! So easy, so basic, so fragrant This works well with chicken also. I sometimes prepare this with both the chicken and the shrimp, but I make a little more sauce, and I will add a little chicken broth to the sauce.
Whenever I make this for friends I usually triple the recipe, everyone fights over the last shrimp lol! Serve this with a long crusty baguette and lemon wedges. Plan ahead the shrimp needs to marinate for 1 hour. recipe#186029 works great for this!
