I made this cake one year for Christmas when I was short of time and wasn't able to make a pie. It was a big hit. It is a very moist cake best served with just a dusting of icing sugar for garnish.

    Recipe #104408

A tasty icing for a chocolate cake such as recipe #31804 #31804, or Kittencal's recipe #116990 #116990, or my recipe #147447 #147447. Enough to frost a two-layer cake. Posted in response to a request. To make an orange cake, use a white cake mix, use orange juice instead of the water called for in the package directions, and add some orange zest. Sprinkle top of iced cake with additional orange zest, or chocolate shavings, chocolate sprinkles, or chocolate drizzle.

    Recipe #126165

Easy to make tasty orange cake starting with a yellow cake mix, and baked in a spring form pan for pretty presentation. From Family Circle Fast Meals Cookbook, a treasured 1972 cook book from my collection.

    Recipe #158675

This delicious cake includes fruits, nuts, and vegetables all in one tasty cake. It is moist and dense thanks to the carrots, pineapple, bananas, and raisins. An excellent fruit cake served with or without the cream cheese frosting.

    Recipe #382036

Easy to make no-cook layered summer or anytime dessert with only four main ingredients; purchased jelly roll cakes (yellow cake with raspberry jam filling), pudding, whipped topping and fresh strawberries. You could make it with other fruit such as drained canned peaches, pears,or mandarin oranges, and vary the pudding as desired. I have also substituted the jelly rolls with chunks of angel food cake or pound cake spread with some raspberry or strawberry preserves.

    Recipe #127739

Recipe from Cottage Life magazine, April/May 1998. It won first prize in a contest. A tasty combination of rhubarb, raspberries, blueberries or cherries. Vary the fruits according to seasons such as strawberries, apples, peaches, plums, pears, blackberries. I used recipe #78579 to grease the pan.

    Recipe #379535

So easy to make from scratch in one bowl and delicious. Keep the cake in the refrigerator. This is a great make-ahead cake that also freezes well. (Cut into single-serving pieces and freeze in a single layer.) Thaw a piece at room temperature or in a microwave oven on DEFROST for one minute.

    Recipe #127020

A tasty orange cake, quick and easy to make with the help of a blender or food processor. Substitute chopped nuts for the raisins to make an orange nut cake.

    Recipe #147447

An easy to make from scratch applesauce dump cake. You can mix it in the baking pan or in a bowl if you prefer. Optional serving suggestions are included. The spiced dusting sugar is also good on French toast. I often double the dusting sugar recipe to keep it on hand for other desserts.

    Recipe #171929

A delicious carrot cake to feed a crowd. No pineapple in this one. Substitute raisins for the nuts if you like. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting, recipe provided. Frosted cake can be frozen. You could also use caramel frosting, creamy pineapple frosting, or Recipe #126165, #126165. Another Taste of Home easy-to-make treasured recipe.

    Recipe #181203

An extra-easy, no-fuss dessert using store bought whipped cream, pound cake and any berries you have on hand or in season. Add a little sugar to the berries if you like. Serve in wide mouth wineglasses for an elegant presentation. You can use a sprig of mint instead of the thyme for the garnish. Recipe can easily be halved.

    Recipe #387197

My sister discovered this cake at a church potluck and asked the lady who made it for the recipe. Since then, it has been a favorite in our family and it is so super easy as well as tasty!

    Recipe #306246

If you're in the mood for something really rich and sweet, look no further.

    Recipe #194348

I got this recipe from a friend of mine - the name pretty much says it all, they're addictive and wonderfully easy, too!

This is an old family recipe that is a real favorite! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Especially love this in Autumn with the Cinnamon Aroma in the Home. This is a very moist and easy coffee cake.

This is a traditional fresh plum cake, thought to have originated in the town of Augsburg, Germany. It is made with fresh Italian prune plums which are at their peak in late summer. Perfect for the afternoon coffee hour. Serve at room temperature, with a dollop of fresh whipped cream!

    Recipe #386977

A regular old pound cake. Dense, not too sweet, wonderful at any time of the day (I often eat a slice for breakfast.. that can't be healthy). The recipe was given to me by my grandmother a couple of years ago, I believe she got it out of a newspaper article.
