This is a great, easy burger recipe. The ground beef is combined with green chile peppers and beef bouillon. This makes them very moist and flavorful. Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite fixings

    Recipe #66600

This is a recipe I wrote down while watching an old cooking show, prior to FoodTV. Even though it is "Chinese", I like to make the burgers small and serve them in those small Hawaiian rolls.

    Recipe #207229

No matter what the story is behind this burger, first or not, it is sheer perfection on a bun. This recipe is loosely based on the original hamburger that was invented and still served at Louis’ Lunch in Connecticut. One visit to the quaint little corner burger joint and you will see first hand how this burger phenomenon has captivated the regulars. The recipe, which has not changed since its invention in 1900, uses 5 different combinations of ground chuck and can only be topped with cheese, onion and tomato. In fact Louis’ Lunch refuses to serve ketchup or mustard saying it would corrupt the taste. This recipe yields a similar moist burger by combining chuck and grilled sirloin and uses a version of the restaurant’s cheddar cheese sauce spiked with lager. Surprisingly, the burger really does not need ketchup or other condiments; it definitely holds its own. The recipe was adapted from Steven Raichlen. Beer Recommendation: Samuel Adams Boston Lager was suggested to me for the cheese sauce and to drink with this recipe. There was a strong, but not overpowering, beer taste to the cheese sauce that I enjoyed.

Full flavor and satisfying. Each ingredient alone is delicious but together the tastes are fabulous. You won't soon forget it. The name says it all. This recipe comes to you from the Lucious Luggage Ladies, Zaar World Tour 3.

A thick, spicy, moist burger with attitude. Need I say more?

    Recipe #231197

A definite guy-pleasing burger. Mellow roasted garlic seasons the meat and the finished burger rests in a nest inside a "bun" of crusty bread. Quick to put together if you make the Roasted Garlic Paste ahead. The garlic recipe will leave you with extra for other uses. Prep and cook times include both garlic and burger recipes.

    Recipe #73712

Very flavorful burgers full of spice and the wonderful flavor of cheese. Great over the charcoal grill, although these can be made indoors at a pinch.

Buffalo sauce, a mixture of melted butter and hot sauce, is a big claim to food fame for Buffalo, New York. It is normally served on fried chicken wings (Buffalo wings), but this burger is a great variation of the theme. The recipe is adapted from one published in my local newspaper and credited to David Joachim, author of The Tailgater's Cookbook. It was included in a feature on tailgating, and the idea was to get these ready to grill at home, then grill them at your tailgating affair. The original recipe called for either ground buffalo or ground beef. Since ground buffalo is not available where I live, I used ground beef. I forgot to notice how long prep took, so the time given is a guess. I served these on PaulaG's Recipe #139827--they are excellent and I highly recommend them.

This is posted in honour of our very own beloved Chef Bergy aka "Her Majesty, the Queen of the Saturday Night Burger." I came up with this after browsing through her countless burger recipes and becoming hopelessly confused trying to pick just one. I hope you like this burger, Bergy! I posted this recipe out of the respect and love Zaar members have for you.

Ground beef is mixed together with shredded Monterey Jack cheese, chopped onion and seasonings, grilled on the barbecue grill and served on a toasted sesame seed bun. Add toppings of your choice. Moist and delicious!

These burgers have a real cowboy taste to them.

This twist for a burger will have them coming back for more! Wish I could take credit for this recipe, however I got it out of a cookbook. My husband said it was the best burger he ever had!!!
