I had peanut butter rice krispy treats years ago and loved them. Now when I went to search for the recipe they all included chocolate or corn syrup or some other kind of cereal. So I just went for it, and they came out perfect, just how I remembered them :) Very popular with kids!

    Recipe #310795

These taste a lot like pralines with a lot less work.

    Recipe #42369

My mother was making these treats 40 years ago for her kids. My college age nephew asked me to make a batch for him yesterday and they are so easy and fast to make. Much less time consuming than a batch of cookies. And yummy too.

    Recipe #147355

I adapted this from the recipe on the package of strawberry flavored marshmallows. This turned out delicious! The white chocolate is enough to drizzle over the top or spread very thinly. If you'd like a thicker layer, use 8-10 ounces. If you don't have the coating, you can use white chocolate chips and add a couple teaspoons of shortening when you melt them. Note: We decided that the 6 ounces spread thinly (as in photo) was pretty sweet. Next time I think we'll just drizzle 4 ounces. Hope this helps you decide how you would like it best! :D

Add an adult twist to a childhood favorite!

I had these sweet and salty saltines covered with chocolate and topped with nuts which I tweaked at a friend's house. Very addictive little treats.Use topping to suit the occasion.

Yummy version of the candy bar.

    Recipe #34569

One of the most decadent chocolate treats ever! Perfect for potlucks and classroom parties. So easy, the kids can make it! Tested at high altitude.

    Recipe #12330

This is a delicious lower fat bar if using reduced-fat peanut butter, these are perfect for kid's lunch boxes, feel free to add in some chopped nuts or sunflower seeds or coconut in place of the raisins,

Since so many elementary schools are nut free zones, I like making these for my kids to take as wholesome snacks since taking a store bought granola bar would be considered unsafe for those around them with nut allergies. We all LOVE this recipe! Enjoy!

This is a yummy bar cookie recipe that my mom gave to me.

    Recipe #246103

The original of this slightly tweaked recipe was found in the Betty Crocker Special Edition Fall Baking, 2004. Preparation time does not include the hour needed to cool the baked bars.

    Recipe #324680

Another recipe from Diane Mott Davidson's Goldy Bear character. Like pecan pie, only easier to pick up. Yum!!

    Recipe #114860

This is a great bar cookie. I got rave reviews when I recently made them.

    Recipe #250063

Was sure these would have been posted to ZAAR, but I haven't found them yet! These are great tasting bars for breakfast or anytime of day! Toasted wheat germ can be substituted for the granola, & margarine can be used instead of the butter. [NOTE -- As of 23 Apr 08, bowing to reviewers' comments, I've changed the # of servings from 16 to 9!]

I have no clue where I got this recipe! My mother and both of my sisters each have different recipes that they make. None-the-less, I've been making this recipe since I've been married and we love it. I like to alternate between english & black walnuts and have been known to mix them in this recipe. The secret to rich fudgey brownies is to slightly under bake.

    Recipe #229057

These are absolutely the chewiest, moistest, fudgiest brownies ever! I have tried adding so many different things to the batter, and they ALWAYS comes out great. They are also great without ANY add-ins! BUT by varying the add-ins, you can make different brownies every week (or day!!) SUPER EASY PREP! So, add "whatever floats your boat" and you will not believe how yummy they come out :) Oh, and the recipe doubles just fine--use a 9 x 13 inch pan instead and add a few more minutes of baking!

    Recipe #32204

This recipe comes from the 10-12 Dec 2004 issue of the USA Weekend newspaper. It's a great tasting fruit bar, but you do need to watch out for any stray cherry pit.

These are a real treat. Recipe from Company's Coming cookbook. Posted by request.

    Recipe #78823

I looked high and low for the perfect blondies. I love them chewy not cake like and the walnuts are such a good accent to the brown sugar.
