This recipe is from 'Madame Wong's Long-Life Chinese Cookbook', which I received free when given an electric West Bend wok as a wedding gift. I've been making broccoli this way for years. It's a quick, easy, healthy recipe.
I was looking for something different to do with broccoli, and I found this quick and easy recipe from 30 Minute Meals. I don't own "grill seasoning blend" so I used a mix of salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, thyme and rosemary.
Another one of my bizzare originals, that actually turned out wonderfully! This makes a light main dish along with a salad/raita, or a side dish with anything else! Steam the broccoli beforehand if you like to it more cooked. I like it crunchy! Oh, and I didn't make a spelling error; "FlavoUr" is right :)
While looking for something different to do with broccoli this Thanksgiving, I came across this recipe from Mario Batali. The original recipe uses lemon AND orange zest. Because I am not a big fan of "orange" flavors in recipes, I decided to try this with just the lemon.
Awesome recipe from my NEW favorite cookbook, Student's GO VEGAN Cookbook. Non-vegans, feel free to add some grated sharp cheddar or parmesan to the filling before you re-stuff the potato skin. This recipe serves one, but can easily be doubled or tripled. And, feel free to microwave the potatoes if you are short on time.
