    Recipe #6884

I adopted this recipe during the Recipezaar Adoption, so I have not idea who Aunt Cora is, but she's got to be one great lady!!! I made these biscuits using Sourdough Starter # 67075 by KimmieOH and they are simply wonderful. I did use the butter flavor shortening and instead of letting them rise over hot water, I just sat them on top of the stove while the cake that was in the oven baked. They rose beautifully. Other than that, I made them exactly as directed.

    Recipe #7018

This is one of my adopted recipes. I have not made it yet, so it has not been revised.

    Recipe #7228

This is my adopted recipe, I haven't made it yet.

    Recipe #11970

Another great recipe from my ex-MIL. I love this recipe because I always have these ingredients on hand. I know the recipe calls for cornflakes, but any unsweetened cereal will do. Nice krispie cookie. Cook time is per cookie sheet. This recipe yields 10-12 doz, so you will be cooking cookies for a couple of hours.

    Recipe #66589

This recipe came about because of a foodtv "30 Minute Meals" episode that featured a chicken pot pie made along these lines. I just took the recipe and changed it to meet our taste. Very tasty.....great comfort food.

    Recipe #71698

Very pretty and delicate cookie. Great for tea parties.

    Recipe #72543

Quick, easy and oh so good. These are especially kid friendly.

    Recipe #74990

I received this recipe from my ExMIL many years ago. This is a Christmas "must" around my house. The best part is that they do not require any special ingredients. Most everyone has the ingredients for these in the pantry and fridge.

    Recipe #80061

Found this recipe in a local fundraising cook book. It is quick, easy and tasty. You can vary the herbs to your individual taste, but the thyme and rosemary are my favorite.

    Recipe #80239

This recipe came from my cousin. Our family loves homemade mashed potatoes any way you fix them, and this is one of the many ways we enjoy them. Prep time does not include cook time for the potatoes.

    Recipe #84727

Another cake from a cake mix.

    Recipe #90580

This is a nice and easy recipe, that goes very well with lamb and ratatouille. If you don't like cumin, use paprika. I usually make more than we really eat, because you can reheat them a little if you have left overs, though in my family it never comes to that. We tend to eat them cold as well.

    Recipe #102476

A substitute for plain potato soup and delicious!

    Recipe #107717

This is so simple, but great. Oh so good for those backyard barbeques!!!!! But if you are not going to be firing up the grill, just turn the oven on to 400 and bake for a hour or until done!!!!

    Recipe #108161

    Perfection, from Sunset magazine.

    Recipe #111846

This is a yummy confection to share with a handsome pirate...Shiver me timbers! Make sure you have the most important ingredient before you start this recipe: !!!!1 dangerous and handsome pirate, preferably wearing a gold earring!!!!

    Recipe #115856

This recipe looks like it is complicated, because it has so many ingredients, but it's not. Most of the ingredients are the spices and herbs that make the dish so great. Actually, it is a very simple and easy recipe.

    Recipe #127730

This is a very simple, quick and easy pie that can be made with ingredients that you have on hand.

    Recipe #129980
