Ready, Set, Cook! Reynolds Wrap Contest Entry. This recipe combines traditional Mexican flavors and creates a fun "stack up" meal. It uses Reynolds Wrap Aluminum Foil to steam off the skin of the poblano pepper, as well as tent the dish while baking. This can be served as a main dish casserole or a yummy appetizer if sliced into small pieces.....great football food. Six servings as a main dish casserole or 12-15 appetizer sizes. If you like things hotter, add some diced jalapenos and garnish with jalapenos as well. Enjoy!

    Recipe #486261

My grandmother used to make this at Thanksgiving and Christmas to fill out the usual sweet potato casserole and dressing menu. This was always one of my favorites. It is very easy and very tasty! It is a good way to get your kids (and reluctant DH's) to eat their vegetables!

    Recipe #262821

I am posting this recipe because it was in a cookbook I received from NE Lady in the cookbook swap March 2009. I was intrigued by the picture in the cookbook; however, mine didn't turn out looking like the picture! I had way too many noodles and too little broth. The cookbook, "Soups for Any Body" states that it is a mix between a soup and a stew. Mine was pretty thick, so I would add more beef stock to the recipe. I'd also serve more soy sauce with each serving, and allow each diner to add their hot pepper oil. If you let your meat marinate while you chop the vegetables, it gets on the table pretty quickly! I did change it a little...I increased the meat by 4 oz.

    Recipe #360507

I like this lentil soup because it includes a couple of veggies too. The red lentils are specified in the recipe because they are smaller, rounder, and they do not have the seed coat of brown lentils. However, you can substitute brown lentils if necessary. I just love the spices in this! This is a long list of ingredients, but it involves very little effort. You should be able to have it on the table in an hour or so.

    Recipe #420718

This is the bread pudding served at Norma's Cafe, Norma's On the Run, and Norma's By the Bay in Pensacola, FL. People wait in line to get a taste of Norma's bread pudding.

    Recipe #328971

This recipe makes 2 loaves of delicious bread. People come to Norma's to just buy this bread. Norma's has three locations in Pensacola, FL. This bread is really good! After Nimz's review, I had to add...I usually half the poppy seed amount...I can't afford to use that many poppy seeds...however, Norma's original recipe, and the one that people line up for, has the full cup in the two loaves!

    Recipe #328972

This is an attempt at eating healthier, while still preserving good taste! These waffles cook up nice and fluffy, while the oat bran and whole wheat flour make them healthier. Serve with your favorite fruit or syrup.

    Recipe #379415

    These are great!

    Recipe #128577

Perfect for an overnight or even for Christmas morning! I love anything I can make the night before for serving in the morning!

    Recipe #443969

If you don't have a large zip lock bag, you can marinate in a shallow pan, but the bag works best. This tastes great! Prep time does not include the marinating time!

    Recipe #439605

This is a great recipe....tastes great and it is so quick and easy to make! Plus it goes with a wide range of meats, making it a great weeknight side dish. This is from the cookbook "June Fete Fare".

    Recipe #411937

This is a recipe given to me by my best friend in high school's mom, who was Italian.

    Recipe #342298

This is especially good with apples and bananas. This is a hit at kid parties...just look out for peanut allergies!

    Recipe #446480

Great use of toasted pecans.....don't forget this step, that is what makes this butter taste soooo good!

    Recipe #396377

This is a very economical dish, but it is very tasty! Served with some bread and possibly a salad, you could have a "poor man's dinner party"!

    Recipe #328492

This is a great tasting pot roast with a slightly italian bent...not enough to be called italian, but the influence is there. There are no cream of something soups in it, and everything is fresh. It is like the pot roast your Mom made for Sunday dinner.

    Recipe #328664

This chicken gets a nice lemony taste from the marinade before it is baked. I included the marinating time in the prep time....don't let it marinate longer or the lemon will start to cook the chicken! To reduce the fat content, remove the skin from your chicken. If you do this, reduce the cook time a bit or your chicken will dry out.

    Recipe #453419

These are great anytime, but especially good in the fall or during holiday season. I like to serve with maple syrup, but feel free to use your favorite topping! Cooking time depends on the size of your griddle or frying pan!

    Recipe #473189

Posted for a quick, weeknight bread, or as a snack. This is delicious, but quick and easy. I came up with this trying to match a bread we get from a local pizzeria/sandwich shop. Close, but not quite!

    Recipe #393320

This recipe is really quick and easy, and the refried beans give a nice thick texture. I love the ease and the taste of this recipe. This recipe came from Southwest Seasons Cookbook.
