    These pancakes have a great texture, flavour and have a picture perfect presentation. The ratio of cornmeal to flour is high in these pancakes creating a nice almost crisp outside with a soft inside. Recipe created by me.

    This is from "365 Foods Kids Love to Eat" by Sheila Ellison and Judith Gray. It was reprinted in a magazine and I thought it sounded like something the kids would enjoy. It recommends serving the french toast topped with apricot or peach preserves. I really have no clue on the prep and cook times.

    This recipe comes from my Mother's first cook book. The American Woman's Cook Book, copywrited in 1938. To this day, these are still the best pancakes I've tasted. Light, fluffy and delicious!
