This is really a great recipe! It is fast, simple and you usually have the ingredients on hand. I never use a mix! I got this from my sister years ago, and I have shared it many times.

    Recipe #25690

It was the Fall of 1987 when Pete Nyhus walked into our office, just to visit. We started talking about breakfast, and he reached into a wastepaper basket and pulled out a scrap of teletype paper. He wrote out this recipe, and my family has never used pre-mix since.

    Recipe #5170

These are wonderful and are almost too healthy to be true. Lots of calcium, protein, fiber, etc. I usually eat them without any topping and just keep popping them in my mouth! Yum. But a good jam will do them nicely as well.

    Recipe #43072

You can do SO much with a crepe. Make many different desserts.

    Recipe #18410

This is our favorite pancake recipe. I got it from Williams-Sonoma site. Try it.. It's great.

    Recipe #66241

These are so yummy. Would be perfect for breakfast or brunch or anytime! I just made a batch late this evening. A parent brought these in for a teacher's luncheon and everyone loved them.

Great snack for everyone, or the for kids lunches or even as an after school treat! Serve for breakfast with yogurt and fruit or over ice cream for dessert. Watch your time in the oven because sometimes it cooks a little quickly. This recipe came from Bon Appetit, March of 2002. A few baking tips I have learned from making this recipe often: I use a jelly roll pan so the granola will have maximum exposure while cooking. Also, if you do like your granola to clump, do not stir while baking. Allow to cool in pan for about 10 minutes or so, then run a spatula between granola and the pan to loosen. You will have so many clumps you will have to break them with your hands ; )

    Recipe #23108

This is a simple perfectly delicious recipe my mom used to make for our family. It origioually came from a biscuits and scones recipe book, this one was always my favorite of all the recipes.

    Recipe #66409

This recipe came from one of my clients, when I dropped over on a chilly Winter morning, and I smelled it throughout her lovely home. YUM!

Nice and smokey, spicy and easy clean up. If you like it sweet try some brown sugar sprinkled on it too.

    Recipe #107440

I've had these a lot at B&B's, probably because they're delicious and dependable if the right technique is used. This dish is puffy around the outside and flat in the center offering the perfect nest for sliced fresh fruit. It's airy, light and makes a beautiful presentation. The batter can be made up to a day ahead and refrigerated.

A great scone for kids and adults!! Taste just like snickerdoodle cookies. Perfect for a luncheon or tea.

    Recipe #124807

I put the dry ingredients into baggies and store several baggies in the cupboard. All I have to do in the morning is add the wet ingredients and bake while I am doing my animal chores and I have an amazingly filling breakfast.

    Recipe #158087

I know there are a zillion pancake recipes already but I went thru and this one IS different and SO good. I think that mixing well, sifting the dry ingredients, and carefully folding in the egg whites makes these so very fluffy. And, wonder of wonders, you can freeze the batter, defrost in the fridge, and the pancakes are perfect. One more thing--you must use real maple syrup and you must warm it before serving it with the pancakes.

    Recipe #173284

This is a recipe I developed years ago, a small amount of baking powder is what makes this recipe special! it's a family favorite and takes very little time to throw together, I sometimes just bake the complete recipe in a 10-inch round cake pan, but two smaller pans will do fine also, you will *love* this!:)

A great brunch item! One of my husbands favorite filling, baked, french toast style, sandwiches filled with cheese, ham, turkey & mustard. Raspberry preserves is a must for him. Could be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is a LESSER FAT Monte Cristo recipe being baked and not fried full of flavor! I also like to buy the low salt cold cuts or use fresh baked turkey leftovers sliced thin.

    Recipe #82119

This yummy syrup is great on German Pancake,or waffles, french toast, etc.

    Recipe #16717

Got this from a nutritionist friend of mine. It has flax seed, and walnuts are good for you - the only nut that has omega 3's. Sometimes I'll also add a cup of sunflower seeds. My daughter loves it and a 8 yo friend was over and tried it. His comment: "This is tasty!" I gave the recipe to his mom and she made it for a school function and it was a hit! I use rolled oats, but you could use quick oats too. I use this on top of fruit and yogurt for a healthy breakfast.

    Recipe #201000

First, these scones are quick, easy, great and a perfect project for a beginning baker. Second...you need to know how to pronounce Puyallup...I wouldn't want anyone to embarrass themselves!!..."Pew-allup", not Pooyloop!!...Here in Western Washington the Puyallup Fair is a huge annual event. It is one of the largest in the US. The fair is all about food for me! And Fisher Scones are the biggest draw...they sell something like 80,000 a day or something like that!! I have many fond memories of Fisher Scones. I found this recipe on-line, the poster said that she came across the recipe in a 1930's Fisher Cookbook her grandmother had. The original recipe called for raisins, but they no longer make them that way. The ONLY way to eat these is warm with a big slab of butter and raspberry jam, just like they serve them at the fair!! Store them in an air tight container and they keep well. They taste nice cold, but way better heated up in the microwave, and don't forget the butter and jam! FYI...Make sure you sift, then measure the flour per instructions. NOTE: I took this recipe and made some changes to it and I think this new recipe is even better Mrs. G's Fair Scones Recipe #184105...try them both and see what you think!

    Recipe #183806

I made this up tonight in search of something different from baked(boiled)potatoes. My oven was not working yet so I decided to pan fry them and they were a hit. ***Updated on 9/16 to add that potatoes should be browned and to add more oil as needed.
