Something I saw Iaan Hewitson do on TV, which I tried. Good for guests for a Brunch.

    Recipe #71178

Ready, Set, Cook! Special Edition Contest Entry: When we saw the simply potatoes contest we immediately thought of making potato nests. They are delicious and simple to make, the spinach and the goat cheese gives them a nice creaminess. Enjoy!

    Recipe #475454

Ready, Set, Cook! Special Edition Contest Entry. This is an easy, delicious breakfast item that uses crispy cheddar hashbrowns as the base of the tostada. Cumin in the scrambled eggs gives it a subtle mexican flavor. The bright colors of the garnishes make it all the more inviting. And there's bacon!

This recipe comes from the Better Homes and Gardens test kitchen. It was printed on an advertisement. Since DH is diabetic, I am always looking for ways to add veggies to his diet. Having them in a frittata in the morning works well. We enjoyed this hope you do too.

    Recipe #118256

Bake these bite-sized frittatas in a miniature muffin pan. They taste great hot or at room temperature, so you can make them in advance. You can use 4 large eggs in place of the egg whites, egg whites just make it lower in fat. Enjoy!

    Recipe #40664

I got this recipe from a magazine. It's very easy to make and is great for any meal. Kids love them.

    Recipe #12975

When I make this I make lots and then freeze in bags using my Food Saver storage system, this method saves time and not to mention the greasy clean up that comes with frying, I pour the grease into a Pyrex measuring cup then save and refrigerate overnight or until hard then scoop out a few tablespoons at a time, freeze on plates then I place in freezer bags to use in recipes to add flavor, you may save or discard the grease --- since RZ system would not accept one ingredient I have listed 1-1/2 pounds bacon separately, you may of course use as much as you like.

    Recipe #367843

My DH is the breakfast maker in this house and this is one of his specialties. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

    Recipe #85919

I got this recipe from the Rachael Ray show. This is one of my all time favorite drinks. Just remember, a little goes a long way!!!!! Prep time is actually chill time for the glasses.

    Recipe #91182

My great grandmother used to make this except she used left-over roast beef or roast pork.

    Recipe #64417

This is a sausage biscuit with egg and cheese that freezes very well. Sixty seconds in the microwave & you have breakfast!

    Recipe #301294

..........Recipe courtesy Rachael Ray***** 1/4 onion may be substituted for the scallions. ******************* 3 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomato may be substituted for the tomato ************************************* crumbled cheese your choice of: Boursin garlic and herb cheese, crumbled, alouette garlic and herb cheese (4 rounded spoonfuls), crumbled feta cheese, crumbled herb goat cheese – again, whatever your preference and whichever you have on hand

    Recipe #187630

This is very quick, easy and delicious. From Chatelaine magazine.

    Recipe #432013

I got very bored with standing around for 15 or 20 minutes every morning, stirring oatmeal. Wasted time! I kept thinking, "I could be on 'Zaar instead!" Then I came up with this idea, and now I am.

These are a breakfast option in the South Beach Diet (phase 1). They can be eaten hot or cold and can also be frozen. These make a handy and healthy snack to take to work too.

From the latest edition of Recipe+. They say you can use any combination of vegetables but may have to adjust the cooking time. Though a long time cooking most of this is unattended.

    Recipe #397689

See my explanation for my new-found lusting for sriracha chili sauce here... Recipe #431929 . Sweet, salty and hot! (Serving Suggestion: Crumble over salads.)

    Recipe #431932

I have always prefered savoury food to sweet food, and this is a recipe I made up for a savoury version of one of my favourite sweet puddings, Bread and Butter Pudding. This savoury dish is easy to rustle up and makes a tasty supper, breakfast, brunch or lunch dish. Do try to use mature farmhouse Cheddar cheese, a little goes a long way as the flavour is so pronounced. This can be made the night before you need it, for breakfast or brunch, and then baked next morning - a great make ahead meal! NB: Do NOT use standard American style sandwich bread, it is too thin and will not crisp up!

    Recipe #301346

Shredded apples and a small amount of sugar make this baked French toast sweet. From American Profile magazine.
