Post on request. Those are cookies that in some places of Greece make for Easter. It's a bit difficult to make but tasty and unique!

    Recipe #161859

This recipe was found in the 2002 cookbook, Mediterranean Street Food. Preparation time does not include the 2 3/4 hours to let the dough rise several times.

    Recipe #373446

My friend Debbie shared this recipe with me years ago. When my husband first tried her bread, he had said to me "Why can't you make squash taste like this." This has become a keeper at our house.

    Recipe #111592

My sister gave me this recipe soon after I brought home my bread machine. It's a staple in our house. Soft and fluffy and great for sandwiches or just to eat fresh out of the oven! UPDATE 3/25/2005 - I made this using the dough cycle of my bread maker today but baked it in the oven and it turned out perfectly! I baked it at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.

A cajun dish. A deep fried yummy Shrimp-Eggplant Beignets served with my sauce. Or use your own sauce. A big hit at my house. Adjust the oil so it not too hot when cooking. The eggplant gives the dough an extra creaminess. Go ahead and salt, rinse and dry your eggplant if you normally do it. I never do and I enjoy the slight bitterness eggplant has. To each your own! ;)

I know there's a couple version out there . . . but this is as close to the real thing you can get! No food coloring here! I bake exclusively with instant yeast, however I've given directions for both. Original recipe is from Gloria Pitzer (queen of copycat) however I've made some minor changes! Time does not include rising time. NOTE: DO NOT USE BLACKSTRAP MOLASSES! I believe a few of the reviewers have used the wrong molasses!

    Recipe #372243

Broa is a very rustic recipe from Portugal and bears little resemblence to American southern corn bread. It's a very dense loaf that's perfect for sopping up hearty soups. Another great recipe from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day cookbook.

    Recipe #379978

This rich oilive oil dough can be used to make a variety of flatbreads, pizza, calzones, lavash, naan and focaccia. Mix enough dough for several loaves and store in the refrigerator for up to 12 days. The fruitier the olive oil the better the flavor. This recipe come from the Artesian Bread in Five Minutes a Day cookbook. Use this dough to make: Recipe #310451 or Recipe #388861 or Recipe #387527 or Recipe #387678 or how about Recipe #387780. UPDATE 9/09: used this crust to make a Recipe #363140 on the grill Recipe #322248 and it was fantastic! NOTE: Best made with white flour, however if you must substitute whole wheat, only replace half, or use Recipe #317560

    Recipe #387518

So easy yet sooo tasty! I especially like the fact that I can make whatever size loaf I need. Original recipe from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day however, I've made some minor adjustments plus cut the recipe down to 2 one pound loaves.

    Recipe #388951

These are the instructions on how to make the best hard rolls/buns from Recipe #309834. Mix up the dough at least 24 hours before you want to make the rolls. I bake mine in english muffin rings, however they can also be made in a muffin-top pan or free formed into minature boules. The ingredients for Recipe #309834 is included to help calculate the nutritional contents of the rolls, please go to the recipe for the instructions to mix up the dough. The beauty of this recipe is you can make as many rolls/buns needed!

We think this is the best white bread recipe ever! It is a tender bread with a slightly sweet taste. My dinner rolls using this dough are so good, everyone always loves them. It doesn't take to long to make them when the bread maker does most of the work. The cook time is listed for the rolls only because everyone's bread makers cooks at different rates. Mine is older and a regular loaf will take 4 hours and 10 minutes. I have found that 15 balls of dough fit perfectly in the 9X13 pan with sides touching after raising the 2nd time but they can be made whatever size you want. I hope you enjoy this great bread as much as we do.

    Recipe #71373

Caution: These are something that should only be made once a year... preferably at Christmas Brunch like I do... These are HARDLY for the dieter. BUT they are simply amazing.... This is my own personal recipe- I hope you enjoy these as much as I do... they are D E L I S H!!!! Can be done in a bread machine, but I like doing them by hand, I have better luck with them that way

    Recipe #201853

Every time I make these rolls, I get raving compliments! This is an excellent potluck dish! It is very important to use McCormick brand coconut extract for the right flavor! For the fluffiest rolls, make sure all the ingredients and the kitchen are warm. This was intended to be a copycat of King's Hawaiian Rolls, but according to my husband, these taste way better when done right!

As per recipe request. You can leave out the okra if you don't like it.

As per recipe request. Time consuming, but really worth it!

    Recipe #26755

A yummy treat your whole family will love. Rising time varies so picking a prep time was nearly impossible. If you try this recipe I think you will agree it is worth the effort.

I made this last night to eat with Recipe#81725 and they came out perfect. What a great meal. Highly recommended.

I could not believe how high this bread was - and it was an experiment too! Wonderful flavours of bacon & onion with just a smidge of mixed herbs. Just crisp up your bacon & fry your onion, and then it all goes in the breadmaker for a delectable bread! Just think - you can have an English Breakfast just by adding some scrambled eggs on top of a slice of this bread!
