This is something you are just going to have to try! It's bread but with a twist. The crust will actually crack and crinkle (the only way I know to describe it) The bread is moist and wonderful. Try it you'll love! NOTE: YOU MUST MAKE SURE WATER AND MILK ARE WARM (NOT HOT OR TOO COLD) OR YOUR YEAST WILL NOT ACTIVATE.

From starting your starter to finishing off your bread, this is a one and a half day process-worth every minute!

    Recipe #490036

This rustic bread has its origins in the towns and farms of the French countryside. With the addition of honey for sweetness and a golden crust, the further addition of a small amount of wheat flour makes a perfect loaf of daily bread.

oh my husband loves me to make these!!! got it off the copykat site

    Recipe #51408

This is a huge hit at our Thanksgiving get-togethers and because of it my new monniker is "The Cornbread Lady!" This is deliciously moist and is excellent served with pork chops, too.

I love this savory and sweet breakfast. I cook my proscuitto first, as it is much easier to work with. See Recipe #239502

This came off Jiffy's website. Makes a moister corn muffin than the standard, plus the added ingredients give it more flavor.

    Recipe #106494

This is a great 'different' from the normal garlic breads. I used only Parmesan cheese, recipe calls for both Parmesan and Mozza. I guess I really shouldn't be messing with Wolfgang's recipes...but we liked the outcome!

    Recipe #133588

This is one of the first recipes I made by Julia Child and I still use it often. I like using these for a brunch or stuffed with ham & cheese for breakfast on the go.

These bagels are better than any store bought or frozen varieties. They are so fresh and the possibilities are endless :) Have lots of real butter and cream cheese on hand! Oh...and you might want to double the recipe...they never last long around here.

    Recipe #26168

Another recipe from the Yahoo Bread Machine list. This one comes from King Arthur Flour.

Recipe Origin: Republic of San Marino, Italy. This makes tremendously great pizza crust for pizza rustica or any of your favorite toppings. You can also use this bread like a focaccia. This bread is very versatile for sandwiches, Indian style tacos, salad toppings or just about anything else you can think of. Simply grill them up and top with your imagination.

I got this recipe off of a bag of flour when I did not have any self-rising flour.

This recipe is perfect for those of us who love homemade biscuits, but only cook for 1 or 2 people. You'll have 4 fresh, warm, tender biscuits on your plate in only 15 minutes. These biscuits cook up so quickly, that you can enjoy them any time of day! Eat them for breakfast, spread with butter, jelly, or honey, or use them to wipe up every drop of gravy off your dinner plate. Also try placing the raw biscuits on top of your favorite pot pie filling, and you'll have a hearty, comforting meal. This is a great way for new cooks to learn how to make biscuits!!

These are THE BEST cinnamon rolls! The recipe is from Todd Wilbur's "More Top Secret Recipes." and www.TopSecretRecipes.com. They're oooey, goooey and rich! The dough can easily be prepared in your bread machine, just follow your manufacturer's order of ingredients. I put the ingredients in the night before, and then roll out and bake in the morning. I would like to share the following suggestions by reviewers about the filling "leaking out" during baking: 1) add a few tablespoons flour to the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture 2) using a flour "shaker" or sifter, I lightly dust the margarine with flour before sprinkling with the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture, then again on top of the BS/cinnamon mixture, before rolling up the dough.

I used many different sources to develop this recipe including the expertise of Stephen Block who sends out a cooking newsletter called Kitchen Project based on German heritage recipes.

Posted in reply to a message board request. This is a recipe for plain, "NYC style", water bagels. IMHO, this recipe makes a very good bagel. I've had this recipe for some 40+ years, and I'm clueless as to where/who I originally got it from. Prep time includes the rising time. Note: The natural minerals in your local tap water will make a difference in the end product.

These buttermilk biscuits are authentic. This recipe came from my great-great-grandmother, and was handed down to all the women in my family, and we are all Southern. I am the first one to commit the sin of using a food processor (lol) but I find it works very well. I would put these biscuits up against anyone's - they are perfect in every single way. I hope you all enjoy them.

This makes a great "do ahead" appetizer, since it can be served cold or reheated. Its also wonderful to take on a picnic (with a bottle of wine ;) If prefered, you can leave out the Feta and Parmesan cheeses.

    Recipe #42332

Inspired by Emeril's Homemade Bagel recipe with some tweaks. My recipe makes six bagels, but doubling or tripling it will work just as well! Most of prep time includes time for the dough to rise.
