My fiance and I love pumpkin breads, and he especially loves cream cheese, so when I spotted this recipe on another site I knew I had to share it. I prefer walnuts, but using pecans will give a sweeter flavor. NOTE: The directions say to process the cream cheese filling in a food processor, but I've also used a hand mixer with good results. Prep time is approximate.

    Recipe #358959

Schnecken means “snails,” which is what these coiled buns resemble. They are much stickier, puffier, gooier and generally more over the top than ordinary Cinnamon Buns. These are just drop-dead good! I had them at a friend’s house and stopped on the way home and bought the cookbook that the recipe came out of: How to Be a Domestic Goddess, by Nigella Lawson. I liked these even better than the Cinnamon Buns we drove for over an hour to get (only to wait in very long lines) at Knaus Berry Farm in Florida! Preparation time does not include time for letting dough rise(One hour and 20 minutes).

You will never want to buy hamburger buns again after trying this recipe. Easy to do using a bread machine and so awesome! You can also top rolls with sesame seeds after brushing with melted butter.

    Recipe #80413

This is from Bread Machine Magic. The best bun we ever had. When barbecuing, I usually divide the dough in half and make 4 burger buns and 6 hot dog buns.

When you get a bread maker you usually get a cookbook to go with it....well this recipe comes from the cookbook my MIL received with her bread maker. I have not tried them yet, but I will be soon. "The longer the dough is refrigerated before the final shaping, the flakier the croissants will be." Cooking time does include chilling time.

I grew up with these oh so good bar doughnuts and didn't realize till recently that they are somewhat of a northwestern phenomenon. I actually halved the original recipe because it was so huge, so it does double. Don't use to much flour because it will make the dough tough. If you are feeling really decadent (they are already deep fried after all) I like to fill them with Bavarian cream filling which I get at our Cash and Carry restaurant supply store, or you can make it yourself.

From www.TopSecretRecipes.com. The cold butter is the secret. It's not included in other copy cat recipes.

This soda bread recipe is my personal one and very simple to make. Most homes in Ireland still make this bread daily and all have slight variations in ingredients or baking times. If you have ever traveled to Ireland, this is the soda bread you ate with your seafood chowder, soup, stew and breakfasts!

Friends that were recently in New Orleans gave me this recipe credited to "Cajun Tours". They said these beignets were delicious. I have not made them but if my friends said they are good then they are!I have no idea how many this recipe makes but it is quite a few

This is the KFC Biscuit recipe from the website, they are wonderful.

I just found this recipe on http://erincooks.com/2008/12/29/raised-doughnuts/comment-page-1/. I haven't tried it yet, but the pictures look really good. I plan to try it when I can get all the ingredients together.

    Recipe #346655

When I landed on this recipe while surfing the web, I had to try it. I'm so glad it did. They are delicious. Tip I: The dough should be soft but not sticky. It took me two attempts to get that just right. Tip II: I posted the recipe as written. After, several batches, I don't press the dough into a rectangle anymore. I divide it into eight equal pieces and pat each piece into a 1/2" thick round. Then, turn each round in dish of cornmeal.

This is a nutritious, hearty bread with a nice nutty taste. It makes great toast! Cracked wheat can be found in a bulk food store.

Another of my make do bread recipes, when DH had a few beers left over ( doesn't happen often.) This bread can be made into loafs or rolls, but we find rolls to be our family favorite. A heavy lager might be more robust, hey give it a try, dh only drinks bud and coors, so we haven't had a chance to try the heavier beers, let us know what ya'all think. LOL so.. salute.

We think this is the best white bread recipe ever! It is a tender bread with a slightly sweet taste. My dinner rolls using this dough are so good, everyone always loves them. It doesn't take to long to make them when the bread maker does most of the work. The cook time is listed for the rolls only because everyone's bread makers cooks at different rates. Mine is older and a regular loaf will take 4 hours and 10 minutes. I have found that 15 balls of dough fit perfectly in the 9X13 pan with sides touching after raising the 2nd time but they can be made whatever size you want. I hope you enjoy this great bread as much as we do.

Easy to make. Stays moist for several days. Always a hit when I take it to work. Excellent breakfast breaed

    Recipe #95495

This is an incredibly moist and tender Banana Nut Bread. The addition of the instant banana pudding gives it an extra banana "kick". I find baking it at a lower temperature avoids burning the edges. My DH likes it for breakfast served under two eggs over easy.

    Recipe #138062

Hooray for fall! We love this pumpkin bread recipe--especially when the slices are slathered with a generous spread of cream cheese. Makes two loaves, so freeze the other one, or heck--eat it. This bread goes fast.
