This is the best pumpkin bread I've ever tasted! I got the recipe from the November, 1995 issue of Bon Appetit Magazine. It was submitted by Vern Bertagna of West Frankfort, IL. Enjoy!

    Eric's Favorite Chocolate Chippers

This recipe is definitely a family favorite. I used to make these cookies at least once a week, and they disappeared about as fast as I could make them, especially when my son Eric and his friends would stampede into the kitchen after school!

    Quick Coconut Bread
    Handle
    3 Reviews |  By Katzen

An easy bread, likened in flavour to putting a straw in a coconut! Of course, using fresh coconut to grate and make the coconut milk is devine if you have the time. (Note that you need to prepare coconut milk from the coconut meat, not just use what is poured from the coconut.) You might wish to top this with a lime glaze. From Sundays at Moosewood.

Silly- Simple Cheese and Garlic Filled Crescents
    Handle

These are so simple it's silly, but my husband loves them so much I thought I'd post this. I like them, too! I've tried making these a few different ways, but I believe good old processed American cheese singles works the best for this - it's clean and easy to measure and roll up, and it melts perfectly during the allotted baking time. You can skip the cooking spray and foil if you want and just bake these directly on the baking sheet, but I like to do it this way because it makes clean up easier, and any leftovers can be stored and reheated right in the foil.

    Rotten Strawberry Banana Bread
    Handle

Don't know what to do with your rotten fruit? Why throw it away? There's nothing better than hot Strawberry Banana Bread out of the oven. My mom used to make plain old Rotten Banana bread on weekend mornings and you could smell it through the kitchen. I've tried to make it healthier by using low fat butter with omegas in it and switching from all white to 50% wheat/50% white flour. I also add strawberries on occasion, although sometimes I stick to just banana. Either way it's moist and delicious (especially with a glass of milk)! You can add nuts if you like- I've always omitted them.

To all the Brits out there this is a firm favourite. Traditionally served with roast beef, we like them with any roast, and even good with good old bangers and mash and oinion gravy. The addition of an extra egg white to the batter adds that extra bit of lift. They can be made any size, I use a medium size muffin pan. There are lots of theories about making the batter and letting it stand for a while, its not neccesary, I make these while the muffin pan is heating in the oven and add to the pan as soon as the oil in the pan is screaming hot. So no hanging about for these puds.

I love this bread. It's so moist and versatile. I make it for breakfast, brunch, tea parties, and even desert. I like to use a mini loaf pan and give the loaves as gifts in a gift basket along with other "Hawaiian" treats. I also use valtrompia bread tubes in different shapes and then slice. The slices look so pretty on a plate. If you use the bread tubes, be sure to fold wax paper to fit over both ends of the tubes before fitting the lids on. I learned this recipe when I used to be a consultant for Pampered Chef.

The Realtor's Small Sized Garlic Pull Apart Bread
    Handle

There are alot of recipes out there for this quick and tasty bread but they all make a large bread that's just too much for my small family. I created this yummy version for those of us who need a smaller "loaf". It's the perfect size for 2 adults and 1 or 2 kids. I make mine in a small heart shaped springform pan. My daughter just loves it and my husband wolfs this down fast.
