This the only recipe I use for everything now. If you live outside Canada your flour may not have the high protein/gluten that our Canadian milled flours have. You may wish to use bread flour. Makes delicious cinnamon buns also.
This is a very tasty bread. We use it for toast and sandwiches. It is always requested by my family for functions. I got the recipe several years ago on the internet. Sorry I can't remember who from. I sure would like to give them credit. The prep. time includes time to rise.
Really really good bread right out of you bread machine.Crunchy!!!
I have been using the bread machine and baking it in the oven with great success. Try 1/2 white and 1/2 whole wheat flour for and even better flavour.
A sweet yeast bread perfect for impressing small groups when used to make a bread bowl, filled with your favorite dip. This bread allows the ease of the bread machine's dough cycle, and the versatility to shape in whatever way you choose, be it a bread bowl or in loaves. Great with the traditional spinach dip. Instructions are fairly detailed but use your best judgment and previous bread making experience to determine exact amounts to fill your chosen container. Prep time includes bread machine dough cycle time.
Just found this on the internet and can't wait to try it. The poster said that it reminds her of the bread at the Outback Steakhouse and that it has a great flavor and soft texture. Uses a combination of three flours. Cook time is according to your bread machine.
You can create your own fillings for this very easy calzone. I don't use the pepperoni, but substitute cooked, chopped spinach. You can also add sauteed onions and peppers, olives, ricotta cheese...etc. I have also made small individual calzones to dip in Marinara Sauce...heaven! Kids love these.
This is a really easy way to make a good "yeasty" pizza dough! As well as using this recipe for when I'm making pizza, I also use it for when I'm making a focaccia or a calzone. (The preparation time I have given includes the time it takes to make the dough in the machine and the time it takes for the pizza dough to proof - after removing it from the bread machine, 30 minutes.)
