Adopted ricpe. This is a nice combination of flavors. You could cut down the amount of brown sugar if you don't like your sweet potatoes very sweet. It would still be good. You could probably cut out the butter too if you wanted. I always make my sweet potatoes with butter so that's why I used it.Prep time does not include the time it takes to cook the chicken and sweet potatoes.

    Recipe #8338

Another wonderful Amish inspired dish. We serve this for dessert, or for breakfast. Very tasty!

This classic beef bourguignon is wonderful. We especially enjoy it on a fall or winter day. I typically reduce a significant portion of the cooking time by using the pressure cooker. Each pressure cooker is different, so you would need to refer to your pressure cooker instructions to adjust cooking time.

I love my brother's grilled chicken and for years, he would never give up the recipe. I finally whined him to death so here it is. I don't think he wanted me to know how easy it is to make. Marinates overnight.

    Recipe #62480

Quick and easy recipe, shared by a neighbor of mine! :)

Corn already seasoned so this is very easy to take for a picnic. No need to bring butter or salt. Just keep corn on ice till ready to cook because the sugar will turn to starch if it sits around. More reason to buy fresh as possible. Can be doubled or cut in half. Feel free to change the herbs.

Enliven your taste buds with this cool and refreshing drink. A great dessert. You can sub the sherbert for ice cream. You can use coconut milk instead of rum if your are not into booze.

    Recipe #67083

    Rich and delicious side salad.

    Recipe #79969

I copied this from The Orlando Sentinel months ago and just now found it. We eat pork chops at least once a week and this is our favorite.

Very flavorful steak- the longer you marinate, the tastier it becomes. Found in Muscle & Fitness magazine and a definite favorite! Note: Looking for the perfect side dish? Try recipe #99229!

    Recipe #101340

    Modified from Lycos.com, Arielle's Archives.

    Recipe #111414

I love this soup! I could eat the whole thing! This tastes like what you would eat at a nice restaurant!

    Recipe #122525

This is a recipe from Woman's World 8/2/05. I have already made it twice, once with blueberries and once with raspberries and both have been delicious. I actually elimated the crystallized ginger and the orange zest, did not have any in the house and the cake was fantastic both times without it.

A friend of mine gave me this for our contest. Hope you like it.

    Recipe #135479

For the Zaar World Tour courtesy of my friend Susan who is a wonderful cook. Try only if you LOVE onions! Wonderful as a side dish.

    Recipe #135486

Just as fast as a boxed mix but much healthier and yummier! Very popular here in TX where we like to add a little crushed red pepper or cayenne to it. Very Italian in flavor.

    Recipe #135666

I made this dish to go with lasagna one day,I needed something just a little bit different to add to the dinner in addition to the usual garlic bread and salad. I think they liked this better than the lasagna.

This recipe is the most requested recipe in our household. It is the result of many attempts to get the right combination of seasonings for turkey instead of hamburger meatballs that still have that Swedish meatball taste. We much prefer the taste to the original hamburger recipe.
