This is the best iced tea, I have ever had. It is not too sweet, not too strong. It's perfect. My dad makes it, and he probably learned from my grandmother, because, they both make the best.
If your tea gets cloudy after being in the fridge, just add a little bit of boiling water.
I know alot of people turn up their nose, when they hear buttermilk, especially if it isn't being used in baking or something similar, I am the same. When my sister told me about this smoothie, I was not too thrilled, but it turns out to be very good, and doesn't have that bitter buttermilk flavor. And of course it's good for you, cultured dairy foods, like yogurt and buttermilk, keep your digestive tract healthy.
this shake is really quick to make, and of course it's not just for breakfast! Keep banana slices in your freezer, to make one at any time. All you have to do, is toss fresh banana slices in lemon juice, and you can freeze bananas up to 6 months in a freezer bag. We love to make these on our summer beach trip.
