Not only are the Deen brothers famous for their good looks and their mama, but they're also famous for concocting this great drink. From their 2007 cookbook, "Tequila and beer make these slushy, orange- and lime-flavored drinks pack a Texas-size punch. They're just the thing on a blazing-hot summer night." I'm patiently waiting for one of those blazing-hot summer nights to try this!

    Recipe #287244

This is one of my favorite shots from one of my favorite bars!

    Recipe #286337

Cool and refreshing with a little bit of a twist on the usual sangria.

    Recipe #270393

This is the perfect mojito for me. Deceptively smooth. Sometimes I'll cut the spent lime shells in half and add a couple of pieces to the drink for visual effect.

Honey is the secret ingredient here. This is how my dad has always made them for us.

Cool and refreshing with a little bit of a twist on the usual sangria. Don't use the Dekuyper Pucker Sour Apple (Green colored) liqueur in this.

Instead of serving banana pudding with vanilla wafers just skip the bananas and serve this martini for dessert.

Another fun one from the Disaronno website. If you enjoy amaretto and cosmos, here you go! http://www.disaronno.com/home.aspx

This drink is a favorite of mine when I've had a bad day and just want one good stiff drink to put me in a better mood. I used to make them lots in Portland. I introduced a few people to them during Mardi Gras too. I ALWAYS use Tequila for this drink. It adds just the right zing. Some snobby drinkers insist that the only Long Island "type" drink that should have Tequila in it is in fact a "Long Island". I don't personally agree, but you can leave it out if you want to. Just make sure to add a little more vodka in it's place.

My husband loves Snapple peach tea but prefers me to make this recipe because it containes *no high fructose corn syrup*. It's a sweet tea but the sugar can be altered to individual taste. I posted the recipe as Todd Wilbur wrote it but I added my DH's preferences at the end of the directions(so I wouldn't lose them and have to experiment again!).

A slightly tingly refreshing summer cocktail with a kick!

    Recipe #211811

This is a very pretty and delicious drink that is a perfect cocktail for Valentines Day... or any occasion for that matter! Enjoy!

    Recipe #209963

This recipe comes from Better Homes and Gardens 'so good with FRUIT' cookbook, published in 1967.

    Recipe #209672

I make this in a French Press, but could be made with drip coffee. For hot milk, I use a glass milk-frother. Heat milk in microwave and use plunger to froth lightly. Strain milk into coffee, remove lid, and put some foam on top of coffee.

I like the Irish cream recipes that have egg in them, but it does sometimes make me a little nervous. Here is a good version that is egg-free.

    Recipe #191608

I played around with creamer recipes until I developed one that tastes like snickerdoodles!

    Recipe #186900

Finally Captain Kate! Here I am w/your belated birthday present. This is a little something light I've found refreshing in the afternoon when I'm busy doing my ZWT cooking! It's tasty, goes down really fast & smooth & doesn't cloud your mind when you're measuring ingredients either!

    Recipe #176535

Nice refreshing drink for summer or anytime! From New Scandinavian Cooking and Absolut.com, what's more Scandinavian than vodka? For world tour 2006.

    Recipe #169648

In English, "White House". I got it out of a PR cookbook.

    Recipe #168807

Thanks to the inclusion of coconut rum, it's difficult to detect any taste of alcohol in this extra creamy-delicious Piña Colada. The rum may be left out altogether for a delightful tropical drink your entire family will enjoy!
