This is a refreshing Cuban drink. It's hard to stop drinking these on a hot summers day. I made these for the fourth of July and we went on to 3 yes 3 pitchers! If you don't have a muddle stick try a mortar and pestle or the end of a wooden rolling pin. Please use fresh lime if you cannot go ahead and try the already bottled lime juice but if you do think about that when you rate this recipe! I did both and there's nothing like fresh! Same goes for the fresh mint if you need to you can use frozen but I DON'T recommend extract. And for the sugar real granular is what helps muddles the lemon and extract the mint oils from the leaves.

This is how I make coffee for guests :) We are tea drinkers and do not have too much of coffee. If I do have coffee it is South Indian filter coffee. Where a decoction is made and then mixed with hot water and sweetened milk.
This is the recipe for a incredibly good coffee mix that one of my resident's son gave me as a Christmas gift, Easy and rich. To make the coffee 2-3 teaspoons in a mug and add boiling water to fill and stir well. I am not sure of the yield, but I know it is delicious.

If you have access to a sweet Texas red grapefruit, like Ruby-Sweets or Rio Stars, then it's recommended you use it in this recipe. From a special edition of Saveur, The Best of Tex-Mex Cooking. I ordered this at a restaurant once. If you're in the mood, you can double the tequila (hehe).
I love chocolate, but sugar is so bad and addictive for me. I find that it fulfills my cravings. Everyone I have made this for swears it is the best hot chocolate that they have ever had. They are always surprised to find out that it has no sugar. The fact that it is pure chocolate is what makes it so good and so fulfilling. I created this myself for me, but I am sure other people have thought of this too.
Ridiculously easy to make, tastes wonderful and makes an impressive gift for any non-teetotaler friends. Superfine sugar works the best. Preparation time does not include 10-12 days for fruit to infuse liqueur.
Mix this up in the morning before you leave for work. When you get home in the evening, take it from the freezer and let it thaw slightly while you change clothes or start dinner. Especially refreshing on hot summer evenings.
