I came up with this wanting something sweet, refreshing and intoxicating on a summer's afternoon, sitting on my screen porch. I found it to be all that I was longing for. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Move over traditional hot cocoa on a cold winters night; you will have a love affair with this concoction. I had this at a Starbucks earlier this year; after fooling around with ingredients, this is the clone. A wonderful drink to curl up with on a chilly night; great for a bonfire or a holiday gathering as well.
My favorite teahouse hangout closed "shoppe" and now I'm left with only the memories of my beloved Lavender Blue tea! I tried my best to replicate it here. Let me know how well I succeeded. Do use your fanciest teapot, tea cups and saucers for drinking your tea. Dedicated to all my Aussie, Kiwi, British, tea-drinkin' Zaar friends, et al!
This is not the usual blender Strawberry Lemonade, but a well worth recipe for a refreshing beverage that will make your guests think they are hanging with Martha herself....you will make this again and again! DELICIOUS!
I first had this at an Indonesian restaurant.I love this drink because it's simple & inexpensive to make. You can also choose to have it sugar free- which I sometimes do & it's still delicious! =) Plus you can freeze any extra & bring them outdooors for a refreshing cool down! Tip:Store drink with a straw in a plastic bottle. Freeze. REmove from freezer 1.5 - 2 hours before consumption (depending on the weather!)
