Another great St. Patrick's day brew.

    Recipe #291113

You have to love skid mark for the name of a drink but, it will kind of make sense once you pour it for yourself. A must try.

    Recipe #15957

I don't know who thought these up but I had a half dozen last weekend and I was happy happy happy! I know it sounds gross but it's wonderful! I don't drink very often and I don't like the taste of booze but this combination is really delicious! They're fun to make and drink and, believe it or not, it tastes sort of like a coke float. Go figure!

I will spare you the details - this my friend, Judy & her husband, Ed want to use this as one of the mixed drinks for their shindig - they tried it and loved it and even though it seems like a lot of work - they say it is worth it. Bon Appetit Magazine, September 2009 Edition. "The Bloody Mary, to quote cocktail guru Dale DeGroff, is like "backyard barbecue: Everyone thinks his is the best." We just might be able to settle that debate. At Holeman and Finch Public House in Atlanta, co-owners and bartenders Greg Best and Andrew Minchow serve the definitive artisanal Bloody Mary using surprise ingredients." Cooling & chilling times have already been included.

This is a twist on the black and tan. Instead of ale, use hard cider. It adds a nice sweetness to th drink.

    Recipe #248599

.... because it's bloody tough to find root beer in Ireland!

    Recipe #22046

You'll need a spoon for this deceptive drink! Note that this only makes enough for 2 "drinks."

    Recipe #288334

The ultimate mall fruity shake at home! I modified this recipe one day from one i found online. I have sensitive teeth so I don't like ice much anyway. Guaranteed not to give you "slushie headache".

    Recipe #24088

If you like mochas but can't (or won't) pay the price at a coffee stand, here's a tasty alternative. Measurements are approximate and are all subject to taste.

    Recipe #267796

This is the NOG without the EGG. Great for egg allergy sufferers who still like the egg-nog taste, just milder.

A greek Lasagna. This is a family favourite. Can be made ahead; refrigerated. Before serving heat in microwave 20 minures #7; Set under broiler for 5 minutes.

    Recipe #168330

One of our favourite vegetarian (ladera) meals. Most often, it is made 'white' - without the use of tomato paste added to the cooking liquid. I like it both way, though, and alternate.

Cat Cora makes these to serve with her Kota Kapama(Chicken Stewed in Wine, Garlic and Cinnamon). This would also make a simple dinner paired witha big green salad. From Cat Cora's Kitchen cookbook.

    Recipe #378226

This goes back years and has remained a family favorite --- you may adjust the amounts to suit your taste and the recipe may be doubled :)

    Recipe #95818

This fish dish has bold, Mediterranean flavours. It is also gorgeous to look at. Accompany with a good white wine and lots of crusty bread, cause the sauce is unbelievable.

    Recipe #76684

Traditionally Greek. Always good. Once baked, the baklava has to stand for 3 hours to overnight to absorb the syrup into its layers. Whereas it is most common to find baklava made entirely with walnuts here in Greece, I prefer a combination with almonds. Sometimes I'll make the baklava using pistachios, or sometimes a 1/2-1/2 mixture of pistachios and almonds. They're all great variations on a delicious theme.

    Recipe #59863

Pastitsio is one of my favorite dishes, perhaps because I am half Greek! I sometimes prepare it in disposable foil pans to give away as a food gift. Cinnamon and nutmeg are traditionally used in authentic Greek pastitsio, but can be omitted if desired.

    Recipe #100793

Found on recipeslive.com, this eggnog is rich and thick like the high-fat, high sugar version.

This goes down smooth as silk. My son hadn't been feeling well for a few days and didn't want to eat as his throat was very sore. It is the end of the week so my pantry was a bit bare. I put together these ingredients and it did go down very easily, sweet and smooth. I don't think we will be waiting for someone to be sick to try this out again. It is very sweet so if you don't like sweet you may want to leave out the syrup.

OMG! Such a yummy cocktail, perfect for girl's night out (or IN)! I make this to fit in my rather large martini glasses, yours may be smaller :(
