It sounds a little fancy but it is to die for! If chocolate covered strawberries are your thing then you have to try this. It is creamy and sort of thick like a bubble tea milkshake. But very yummy. Note :Minute tapioca pearls can be found in Asian supermarkets and are grey in the package.

I have just discovered "Kombucha", and I LOVE IT! It is said to support- Digestion, Metabolism, Immune System, Appetite Control, Weight Control, Liver Function, Body Akalinity, Anti- Aging, Cell Integrity, Healthy Skin and Hair. This is from Wikopedia- "Kombucha is the Western name for sweetened tea or tisane that has been fermented by a macroscopic solid mass of microorganisms called a "kombucha colony," usually consisting principally of Acetobacter-species and yeast cultures. It has gained much popular support within many communities, mentioned by talk show hosts and celebrities. The increase in popularity can be seen by the many commercial brands coming onto the retail market and thousands of web pages about this fermented beverage". You can read more there at- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kombucha . It will even tell you how to make Kombucha. I bought mine at a health food store, but I am soon going to make it myself. The drink I bought is called "Synergy". I bought the Gingerade, the Divine Grape, and the original. I love the flavored ones and can't wait to get other flavors to try. I believe the Grape flavored can be used in recipes called for wine if you don't use alcohol because it has the flavor of wine to me. You can use any flavor in this drink, but the ginger one was recommended. It may be a little too tart to some people so just add a little more mint. I hope you like it as much as I do.

A yummy, creamy drink found in Company's Coming Greatest Hits Mexican. For a virgin variation of this drink, omit the vodka and add an extra 3 tbsp pineapple juice.

Lemons must be at room temperature before squeezing out the juice. For pink lemonade add in a few drops of red food colouring, and for honeyed lemonade substitute liquid honey for the sugar, this is a wonderful drink on a hot summer day!

    Recipe #163220

I haven't tried this yet, but anything to try and use less sugar is worth a try.

    Recipe #148903

I haven't tried this one but it sounds delectable and so healthy. From the latest copy of Redbook magazine.

Very refreshing drink, very easy to make. It works just as well with Cantaloupe or Honey Dew melons. I've made this recipe with many different types of melon with great results. The grocery store I use has a yearly melon sale in the summer. You can try and buy several types of melons that you normally couldn't get in this area of Wisconsin. The Santa Claus melon has a very mild flavor and light color. I like to use my LaLane juicer.

Forget the coffee. This is a great way to start the day! Cleanse from the inside out. Cleanse the body of impurity by rinsing the system and stimulating digestion. Drinking this first thing in the morning will also help to "tone" your body because lemon stimulates cleansing of both the gallbladder and liver. Relieves symptoms of indigestion such as heartburn, bloating and belching. Controls constipation and diarrhea by eliminating waste efficiently. Cleanses the Liver.

    Recipe #87790

We had a nonalcoholic "bar" at our corporate summer picnic this year, and this was one of the most requested drinks. People came back for seconds, thirds, fourths.... Some might like more mint than the recipe calls for and some might like less. Quick and easy, I blend it up right before dinner and it is really refreshing! (Add 2 oz. of Vodka or Rum and it is a fabulous cocktail as well!)
