This is the way my grandmother makes use of leftover chicken. Add more or less lemon juice to taste. You can also add diced white onion if desired.

    Recipe #101890

From a cookbook called "Green Tea"

    Recipe #339350

Still clearing out some old Bon Appetites, and found this tasty-looking recipe in the November, 2007 issue. Piperade refers to the classic Basque stew made with tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and garlic

    Recipe #388882

This simple fruity sangria requires some patience, but minimal effort.

These are in fact sun dried limes. In Persian the same name is used for limes and lemons (limoo). Lemon would be called "limoo zard" (yellow lime). So when they translate, they call both limes and lemons "lemon". It is known to Persians that when you say "dried lemons" in English, you really mean "sun dried limes." (available outside of Oman in Middle Eastern groceries)

Entered for safe-keeping. From Mrs. J Siemmons, Jackson, Michigan, as submitted to BH&G. Pimento and red kidney beans set this salad apart.

Posting for safe keeping so I can try later. Good on a hot summer day.

Flavored butters are so easy to make and can be used in many different ways. This is a great butter recipe to add to your collection. The recipe is from the justberryrecipes.com website.

    Recipe #122398

This is a recipe I found on Cuisine-France.com that I adapted, to add some cheese, in order to be like a hotel's French restaurant's eggs for brunch that I enjoyed. I am posting this for ZWT France leg of the race. Times weren't stated, so this is a guess, as this is untried by me as of now.

A fantastic dish! This is from Bittman's "The Best Recipes in the World." Everything that I've made from this book has been great. I used boneless skinned breasts. The cooking method for them wasn't quite right, and I'll probably do the timing differently next time. Paul Bocuse's variation is below.

This pudding is one of the best I've ever had. It is extremely rich and decadent. On top of that, it's pretty low in fat (much healthier than what you'd buy at the store) and pretty simple to make. It comes from Didi Emmons who says: "The consistency is creamy and smooth, like that of Jell-O chocolate pudding I loved as a child, but the flavor is far superior."

According to Martha - "These crunchy thyme-flecked nuts are delicious served with sherry and slices of manchego cheese." Taken from Martha Stewart and posted for ZWT. These morsels are perfect for your next tapas party.

This addictive snack is so easy to make! Recipe found at myrecipes.com 9/3/12 edited to add....thanks to the first reviewer for finding my mistake....it should be 4 cans of chickpeas (not 1)....should be corrected now!

My DD created this drink since she desired a chai smoothie. This drink is perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day, an afternoon pick me up.

From The Tasty Kitchen site with changes for my taste. This is a little sweeter version, so adjust sweetness to taste. Freezable in ice cube trays.

    Recipe #469218

We received kale in our CSA box the other day and this salad was the result-quickly constructed yesterday to accompany a tofu main dish. I added half raisins and half barberries but you can substitute another dried fruit either alone or in any combination: raisins/golden raisins, dried figs, dried dates, currants, dried cranberries, barberries, dried cherries. Some elements of the dressing were inspired by a recipe found online although I forgot to bookmark where I found it!

An easy way to dress up corn from a recipe card at the grocery store! Adjust the heat to your preference by removing seeds and deribbing for less heat, or include seeds for some extra zip.

    Recipe #486925

Roasted and then spiced with a sweet and savory seasoning makes these yummy. :) From Country Living magazine.

    Recipe #480188

Inspired by Healthy Pick's Blueberry-Pomegranate Applesauce. I don't know if this tastes like Healthy Pick's because I've never sampled theirs. This is a copycat recipe in the sense that I copied the ingredients and embellished with my own. Please substitute another sweetener of your choice. Ingredient amounts are estimated. I had visions of blueberry pie dancing in my head while composing this recipe...

    Recipe #485447

From the Eat Clean Diet book by Tosca Reno.
