    Besides Dennis, and my family on the farm, my other great love is the nifty tomato. It is in my top 2 food choices ever. Upon grabbing the little hiding tomato in the garden, and popping into your mouth on a hot summer day is; about the most terrific taste and feeling one can have. I typically feel like "Julie Andrews" in "The Sound of Music" when she twirls about singing about the "Hills are alive....." I just can't help it. I eat so many tomatoes in fact, (all seasons) that I honestly get those double darn sores in your mouth from the acid. That aside, I haven't met a tomato I have like. This is why this recipe, to me, is quite simply one of the best uses of a tomato that has ever been discovered. Quite honestly, I love ground beef tartare. Sometimes due to dietary smartness, I can't always go around and order Beef Tartare. Jacques Pepin, (great, great Chef) came up with the wonderful addition to the tartare world. I especially love the use of tomato water sauce. Read on, and see if you wouldn't like it too.

    You will not believe how simple this is to make or how much people love it! I have used this many, many times on buffets, drinks gatherings, or just as nibbles when the footie boys invade my house-and there are NEVER any leftovers!! The quantities are not exact-so adjust the amount of chutney as you see fit. The cooking time can also vary-sometimes I cook these long and slow, other times I whack the heat up a bit to speed it along-depends how long you can wait for them!

Her recipe is so divine and I found myself making it so much that I just had to do something so we could enjoy it without the guilt.     Fresh cottage cheese salad. Utilize the veggies from your garden. I'm not sure when I started making this salad. My grandma came up with it years ago, and I've made some simple changes to make it my own. **I've never had this salad on a bun, but my fellow Zaarites have taken gorgeous pictures in that form.     Pretty much any type of bread will make good croutons. You can use stale pieces of baguette to the end slices of a sandwich loaf. Good croutons follow these basic rules= Make sure to cut the bread into uniform pieces, the cubes must be tossed with olive oil that has been laced with the determined spices, and the pieces must be baked in a 350*F. oven until golden.     Pucker up with a lemon shake by blending vanilla ice cream with lemonade. Add sparkle to the glass rims with crushed lemon drop candies and sugar. I'm guessing at the time because I'm not sure how long it will take to crush the candies.
