Modified version of the recipe that my Aunt Andy used to make when I was a child.

    Recipe #17344

My husband has tried many different recipes for cabbage rolls and swears these are the best he has ever had.

    Recipe #91735

Absolutely flavor filled. Easy to make and economical.

    Recipe #9526

    A Rachel Ray Everyday recipe.

An easy alternative to tamales. I like to make it in my large oval casserole dish and round it up like a giant tamale. I also substitute a small can of diced green chilies for the bell pepper when I didn't have any on hand and discovered I prefer it. Muy bueno.

A traditional steak and Guinness pie done by my favorite British chef, Jamie Oliver. This is made particularly easy by using puff pastry for the top pie layer! If you want to skip the puff pastry layer, you could serve this as a normal stew. The herbs listed are just a suggestion. Jamie typically leaves the amount and type up to the cooks' personal tastes. He suggests a "handful". I did change the recipe a little bit from his, due to personal preferences. Feel free to substitute out the Guinness and use beef stock instead. Pure comfort food. :)

The best Corned Beef I've ever made was in the Crock pot. (You can substitute water for beer, but the flavor won't be the same) NOTE: If you make more than 3-4 lbs., cook it on HIGH. I've made 6-7 lbs., and it won't be done after 9 hours on LOW. ANOTHER NOTE: This makes wonderful sandwiches if you cook it, then chill it before slicing.

Saw her make this on her TV show and had to give it a go. The recipe was originally intended to use baby potatoes as an appetizer, but I turned it into a main dish, with slight modifications.

    Recipe #451014

"Stir-fried beef in a light gingery sauce. Serve over steamed rice or hot egg noodles." Submitted by: Holly on another site. Thought I'd add a recipe that isn't for the winter holiday season! If you're concerned about the sugar use the Splenda version. This recipe is featured in '30 Minutes to Cook' cookbook from Oxmoor.

This is a recipe I have developed over a number of years. This is the only spaghetti sauce my family will request! Very easy to make. I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does!

    Recipe #26217

This recipe is from Good Housekeeping. It is one of the quick recipes and sounds delicious. I am putting it on Food.com for safekeeping and I'll be trying it soon.

I am happy to say that I have finally made Hobo Stew with some taste!! I did not have to add soup for flavor!! This recipe is for a 6 Qt Crock Pot. Enjoy! (I'm not much on green beans so I drain them!!)

Closest thing I've found to the real deal that my wife and I had on our honeymoon in Ireland. :) Recipe courtesy of Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. See www.foodnetwork.com for the original.

    Recipe #68827

I found this recipe in Woman's Day. It is slightly different than the others posted, so I thought I would include it.

    Recipe #484763

I was looking for a yummy South Beach recipe to curb my Italian Cravings. I found a vegetarian lasagna recipe using eggplant slices as noodles, substituted my own meat sauce, and voila! A low carb keeper in our home! The eggplant taste is indistinguishable with all of the bold italian flavors, and adds the needed texture of the missing noodles. I've also seen zucchini strips used as the mock noodles. Try it!

Hearty stick to your ribs cooking. Great for St. Pat's Day or New Years. Has a nice sauce or serve with lots of grated horseradish.

    Recipe #79695

Here's a cheap and delicious dinner from Rachel Ray Everyday, only $2.56 per person!

    Recipe #474291

I think you will really enjoy this meatloaf, I know my family does! ---if you have any left overs just warm slightly and serve in crusty buns with BBQ sauce --- this is great served with mashed taters or fries, the topping recipe may be doubled if desired ----- *note* if you want to take this meatloaf to another level and make this company-worthy prepare the meatloaf with the stuffing mixture in the middle, this is only optional the meatloaf is still delicious by itself --- prep time does not include preparing the stuffing mixture.
