    A good, basic meatloaf.

    Recipe #155350

This recipe is used to mix with spagetti. I learned this from my Mom.

    Recipe #109487

You could say that the name says it all.

    Recipe #55615

I loved it when Mom used to make this for us! I have no idea if she originally made it for Dad, who had been in the army, or if she just liked it because it tasted good and was a budget stretcher. A traditional favorite, good ol' SOS. Note: the title of this recipe specifies that it is made ground beef, rather than chipped beef; "authentic" SOS is generally made with chipped beef, however many folks also refer to the ground beef version by the same name.

This is a great comfort food. I do not like to cook with canned soups and prefer my stroganoff with no tomato sauce or ketsup. We joke about cup-a-cup-a-cup like in Steel magnolias, because all the measurements are in cups. Perfect for a quick week night meal or for company

    Recipe #137910

This is one of my mother's recipes that I've made for years now, and my kids love it! I love how easy it is to prepare, and how flexible you can be. Can be served on egg noodles, crunchy chow mein noodles, or even rice!

    Recipe #123503

I like this recipe because it's made with corn tortillas instead of pasta noodles. It sure is a family pleaser.

I love burgers and this is a nice change. So much flavor that you only need a little mayo.

    Recipe #154210

A variation of meatballs and spaghetti.

    Recipe #151518

A quick and easy recipe for a busy night. I really enjoy this one. I have experimented using other BBQ sauces, but I personally haven't found one that works better than regular flavor Bullseye Brand barbecue sauce. Cooks up thick, rich and saucy. (If I don't have Bullseye, I don't make it.) I found this recipe in a little "bottles and boxes" (recipes using stuff you have in your house)type recipe guide I received free in the mail.

    Recipe #153112

This is a very quick, easy, and delicious recipe for bourbon chicken and the one I make most often -- and it really contains bourbon!

Hamburger steak is a great method of enjoying hamburger without the bread. This Hamburger Steak recipe has a little twist in that not only hamburger meat is used. You can made the burgers up and freeze for future use.

I know there are several recipes on here for country fried steak. I didn't see any here the way I make mine, so I decided to post it. Please don't let the long list of instructions bother you, it’s easier than it looks. If you try it I hope you enjoy it! posted on January 27th 2006.

    Recipe #153874

The classic American cheeseburger is taken to new heights with this Tex-Mex version that includes jalapeño-laced Monterey Jack cheese. Mixing the cheese right in to the burger is the secret to keeping the burgers moist even when cooked through. The burgers do have a tendency to stick to the grill so be sure to oil the grate before cooking. This recipe was adapted from the king of the grill, Steven Raichlen. Beer Recommendations: The heat from the peppers and the richness of the cheese calls for a solid ESB with a hoppy aroma and slightly sweet & citrusy tang like Young’s Special London Ale. If you are searching for a beverage that is not quite so hoppy try a dark lager like Negra Modello for a smooth finish that is sure to please all.

Here are the ingredients & the instructions to make the perfect burger! Although it may not be the healthiest, use medium ground beef for moistness & flavour. The leaner varieties produce burgers that are drier with a denser, tighter texture. Don't use previously frozen meat as juices are lost during defrosting. If making ahead, cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate for no more than a day. Enjoy!

This authentic recipe is from my hometown of Houma, LA (about 70 miles south of New Orleans). This is great for just about any occasion. Don't let the name fool ya, this burger is to die for.
