this is my creation. I wanted something different, and I wanted to use up my bottle of chili sauce. The great thing about this dish is the fact that you can make it as mild or as firey as you wish! Its great tasting, and simple. Don't let the time it takes fool you! It's made in a dutch oven over low heat, so basically you can walk away and let it cook.

    Recipe #313353

This is a recipe I adapted from recipe #182014 by Chefcrystal. Her original is very good, but I wanted to adjust it to fit my families tastes and still have the ability to put it in my menu plans and shopping lists.

    Recipe #290045

An easy hamburger steak recipe, smothered in brown gravy. Good comfort food!

Tried this for the first time and everyone went for seconds!

    Recipe #77443

A tasty recipe that we enjoy. (I often make large batches of meatballs and freeze them to use in recipes such as this - a real time saver!) This meal cooks in one skillet, minimizing clean-up - who can't appreciate that?!

    Recipe #272231

This recipe was given to me by my husband so I have no clue where it came from. Looks weird but it's so good you will go back for seconds!!

This came from a Kraft magazine. The recipe calls for frozen meatballs, but I used my own. This is really hearty and delish.. great comfort food! Serve this with a nice dinner salad.

    Recipe #272671

This dish makes a great looking presentation.

    Recipe #276334

This is a remake of recipe #210978 and made for Make it Healthier recipe tag. To reduce the sodium, you could use homemade pasta sauce. I made 5 big patties.

    Recipe #276638

Quick & easy .....like a homemade Hamburger helper ;)

    Recipe #276923

I found this recipe online. I was desperately looking for a recipe like this because I am only on my 3rd day of the South Beach Diet and I am already getting tired of the salads!!!

    Recipe #277037

This is a delicious Greek recipe and one of the most popular Greek recipes the world over.

    Recipe #277115

This recipe is so tasty! I came up with it one night when i was already defrosting beef chop meat for meatballs, and i changed my mind for something different. Goes great with white rice, but feel free to use brown. My fiance loves this dish and it's very easy to make.

    Recipe #277276

This was a favorite meal growing up. Filling taco shells with Sloppy Joe mixture is a wonderful alternative to buns.

    Recipe #277956

My friend Liz made these meatballs for me and they're awesome! The sauce is so sweet and delicious. Liz said she often triples the meat and doubles the sauce and that they freeze and reheat beautifully. She often makes this dish for a new neighbor, a family that just had a new baby etc.

    Recipe #278201

A little something I threw together for my mushroom-obsessed boyfriend and his family. It tastes great with cheddar cheese and a little barbecue sauce.

    Recipe #278341

Hearty, and simple to prepare. This main dish satisfies young and old with a delicious, cheesy beef filling inside a tender pastry crust.

    Recipe #278648

This is a replica of a main dish often served in our high school cafeteria (Go Spartans!). Easy, tasteful and filling, these are one of my hubby’s most requested meals. I use the cheesy garlic biscuit mix by Bisquick. Sometimes I use a can of tomato soup rather than mushroom just for a change. I like to serve these with mashed or fried potatoes and green beans.

    Recipe #278874

This is true southern cuisine, the flavors in this recipe are a little more complex than the basic chicken fried steak. Not being a real Texan I don't like mine with gravy, but it would be blasphemy not to post the gravy recipe as well. This recipe also works well for venison (first soak meat in milk to remove the gamey taste). Makes excellent sandwiches the next day (serve leftovers on texas toast). Storing this recipe on Zaar cause I couldn't find it last time I had a craving!
