My sister swears by this. She is in her mid fifties and is more active than the average bear, so it must do something!

    Recipe #114008

Swiss are very much into natural Medicine. Here is a ritual that removes cellulite, cleanses the lymphatic system, removes dead skin layers, strengthens the immune system, stimulates the hormone and oil-producing glands, tones the muscles, stimulates circulation, improves the function of the nervous system, helps digestion, AND it’s easy, inexpensive and invigorating! It will take about 30 days to see and experience the changes. For a thorough lymphatic cleansing, perform skin brushing daily for a minimum of three months. This is a great, simple drink to detox impurities from your body. It cleanses your body from the inside out. Extremely easy to drink too. Have one first thing in the morning, and one before bed. You will see the difference within a week. Try keeping this up for 1 week every month. If you can drink this everyday, it would be WONDERFUL.

This is very inexpensive compared to all the whiteners on the market. And is not the same as those gels on the market this has only 2 ingredients which you know and are at hand in every home. It gets your teeth & gums nice and clean. I do it once every couple weeks. A great way to remove wine, tea, coffee, & tarter stains. If you don't like the taste add a a drop of mint extract. It's is SAFE for your use and has been used for a long time. You can check this article at http://www.dentalgentlecare.com/whitening_safety.htm Take Note A recent report suggested a "possible" link between tooth whitening and oral cancer. It was based on two (only 2)case reports of patients who contracted oral cancer with none of the known risk factors. There are no new studies cited. We call this to your attention because the report got substantial media play. Interestingly, the report itself states that carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide-chemicals generated in the whitening process-AREN'T CARCINOGENS IN THE MOUTH. June 2002 2003 2004 http://educate-yourself.org/cancer/benefitsofhydrogenperozide17jul03.shtml This is no more cancerous then the fat, grilled food and processed foods people put in their bodies filled with ingredients your can't read. If you go into your cabinet and read the hydrogen peroxide bottle it states to use as an gargle and mouth rinse.

I found this recipe at ivillage.com. It is supposed to be what beauty contestants and supermodels do to get the jiggle out. Well, I know with swimsuit season approaching, I need to do SOMETHING. I have not tried this yet, but have heard of doing it before!!! I sure hope it helps!!!

After using this stuff I needed a cheaper way of doing it. Now that it is available in some stores the cost might still be too steep for all.

This is very easy to make and so inexpensive. I prefer Clairol Herbal Essense because it is thick so it makes more, plus it smells really nice. One 12 ounce bottle of conditioner will make 12-24 bottles of Leave-In Conditioner, depending on how much you add. You need to use distilled water to prevent spoilage/bacteria growth.

Here you go AuntWoofieWoof as requested. This is an inexpensive way to deep clean your hair built up from Meds, chlorine, hair products, & the environment. A good cleanse to do before a perm.

A lovely balm, I received this recipe from a friend at a gift basket making party where some of the baskets contained homemade products like this.

This wonderful soap is delicately scented, and is beautiful to look at. Use a variety of different molds to make it really special. You can give this as gifts -- or use it yourself everyday! You don't have to know how to make soap from scratch to make this soap, and you don't have to use scary ingredients like lye! (Which many people are uncomfortable with.) Enjoy!

I work in an office with 5 doctors and as you know, doctors are always washing their hands which makes them dry. We make this lotion for them and they LOVE IT!! **UPDATE 3/31/09: I use 4 oz. of Vaseline petroleum jelly, it would not let me enter it on the ingredients part and for the Vitamin E, you can use lotion or cream, whatever you like or can find. I also tried the NEW cucumber melon baby lotion....AWESOME!!, husband and son liked it but I still like the regular pink the best. I ONLY use J&J baby lotion because it seems to work the best. Thanks to everyone who has given me reviews....

    Recipe #92615

You will have to find the right amount of essential oil for yourself. The peppermint has a cooling effect, but there is a difference in the oils that are for sale, some are stronger then others and everybody has a skin that reacts differently. The one I have made for myself has 40 drops. I bought a cheap body lotion in a drugstore for this. Instead of vodka you can use rubbing alcohol which is available from chemists. Tea Tree or Eucalyptus oil also have refreshing effects. I made it for a friend and used lemon oil, does not have the tingly effect like the peppermint but smelled very nice, make your own combination. The cream is also nice when you not just massage it into your feet but on your legs as well. The cornstarch works like talcum powder and might leave a slight white powder haze on the areas you have rubbed it into and on your hands.

I found this recipe in my local paper. The tomato acts like an astringent to tighten pores and remove excess oil, while the honey is a natural moisterizer that softens the skin. While trying to post this there was some issue with the tomato, it should be one green tomato, just incase it shows up as zero.
