    From BUST magazine. Vegan and free of chemicals like parabens, artificial color/fragance, sodium lauryl sulfate, and aluminum. It is not an antiperspirant so it won't stop you from sweating but it will stop you from smelling like BO, and will soothe sensitive skin. Store-bought deodorants/antiperspirants stain the underarms of my clothes. All-natural types like this one do not. All of the ingredients can be purchased from the health food store. Use any essential oils you like but lavender is a natural choice for its antibacterial properties. Lavender goes well with sweet orange and ylang-ylang.

Shea butter can be effective at treating the following conditions: fading scars, eczema, burns, rashes, acne, severely dry skin, blemishes, dark spots, skin discolorations, chapped lips, stretchmarks, wrinkles and in lessening the irritation of psoriasis. Also provides natural UV sun protection but don't rely on it as a sunscreen because it filters out only little amounts of UV rays. Shea butter absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. It can be bought on line.

    We go to Hawaii every year for holidays. I absolutely love Hawaii...but it does not like my skin!!!
