I love this recipe because it is so easy to roll out, and the taste is great. This is our favorite Christmas cookie recipe to make, but I also make them for Easter and Halloween. Sometimes I ice them or just sprinkle with colored sugar while they bake. I always double this recipe for us.
These bars take a little extra time to make but are well worth it! Be sure to use Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (or another brand you are familiar with) for best results. Several people have requested this recipe so I decided to post it and forward them all copies. Enjoy!
These are rich, yummy layered squares that require no bowl or mixing. They are very easy to make and come out wonderful. (I have no idea where the name came from...got these out of a 30 year old women's club cookbook.) 12/23/08: Butter amount changed to reflect the advice and opinions in reviews. Thanks!
This is a very easy recipe, made with the new nestle swired morsels, if you can find them in your area you will not be sorry you made them. Taste wonderful and look incredible on cookie trays. From the Nestle website
This recipe came from Quick Cooking (one of the best magazines Reiman Publishing came out with next to Taste of Home and all the others!). When you're doing massive quantities of cookies, any short-cut is appreciated. This recipe uses refrigerated cookie dough. And really, who's gonna know? Just spruce it up a bit and keep your mouth shut and take 100 % of the credit. (You could make your own sugar cookie dough too if you desire...either way, these are beautiful on a holiday tray!)
