Recipe is from my "Joy of Eating French Food" cookbook. Posted for ZWT-8-France.

    Recipe #482744

Easiest thing to throw together on a weeknight. From www.NewEnglandRecipes.com. Great served with sweet potatoes, especially Recipe #308279.

    Recipe #375464

This is quite similar to the creamed spinach at Boston Market, well so I'm told anyway! --- this is a great side dish, even people that hate spinach love this, it's great to serve along side a holiday turkey or a ham dinner, or at any meal --- I also like to saute about 2 teaspoons fresh minced garlic and a pinch of cayenne pepper in the butter for about 2 minutes before adding in the flour but that is optional, add in some grated Parmesan cheese too if desired, this complete recipe can be doubled :)

    Recipe #77206

This dish is to die for. Serve with baby potato, asparagus, fresh steamed greens or a salad. A simple dish for a dinner party or to enjoy anyday. This dish is very simple and is best made with a good pure maple syrp -this will give you a superior flavour!Use pure maple syrup and ensure your mustard is gluten free if your diet requires

It doesn’t get much better’n this. Besides being remarkably easy to make (thanks to the crockpot), once chilled, this food from the Gods becomes super dense, like the center of an incredible chocolate bon bon. Take a bite and you will go, “mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.” Make small servings as this is *rich*. Found at worththewisk.com

    Recipe #408294

This could be a light lunch or breakfast.

Found this on a favorite blog and had to try it. Yummy!

    Recipe #460738

I wanted to make some soup on a cold day, but was tired of plain tomato or vegetable soup. So I played around with a few ingredients and came up with this. Hope you like it. I know I do. Oh and feel free to use some diced onion instead of the minced, but my dh can't handle fresh onion so i have to use the other. Sometimes i'll throw in some chopped cabbage too.

I created this version of a quesadilla after searching recipezaar for a barbecue chicken quesadilla. When I didn't find one, I ended up making this relatively simple quesadilla that is quick, easy, and a kid pleaser.

You will absolutely love this creamy and cheesy recipe. Serve it with a side salad and rolls to make a complete meal.

On Judy's notes it says: "Pour a 1/4 cup of DECENT white wine". The recipe also says bake or grill for about 20 minutes. I personally like my salmon on the rare side so I would grill it for less time.

    Recipe #302826

This is one of my mother-in-law's only recipes. So easy and absolutely yummy. . .but you have to eat it all in one setting as the leftovers don't heat up well. I have subbed lean ground turkey in the past and it is a bit more bland than the beef, so if you take that route, make sure you brown with the turkey with a clove of garlic and a couple tbsp diced onion.

    Recipe #224280

Passed along to me by a family friend. This is equally good but very different with goat cheese or cheddar cheese.

France and Mexico meet in this recipe. I've not tried brie cheese yet, so I'd like to try this sometime. For Zaar World Tour II 2006

Smoked sausage is my new go to meat for a tight budget, so I have been searching for something to use it in besides Jambalaya. I found this recipe in a Taste of Home magazine and loved it! I just had to share it! For a healthier casserole, I use whole wheat pasta, turkey smoked sausage, 98% fat free soup and low fat cheese.
