It took me two years to track down this recipe after it appeared at our ladies Curling Bonspiel Potluck! Since then it became a favorite not only at potlucks but at our house as well. An old fashioned comfort food enjoyed by adults and children alike. Great served with a green salad and crusty bread. This is the original recipe but you may add extra seasonings of your choice if you wish. Servings depend on just how hungry the crowd! Note - Have added the optional can of tomato soup mentioned in the instructions to the ingredient list. I always add the can of tomato soup for added flavor and extra creaminess.

This is posted for a request. It comes from a very old copy of a PWMU (Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union) cookbook. Crumbles are a favourite winter dessert for my family, and one I actually make, as they are so simple.

This is my mother’s recipe, she always makes it if we had a barbeque. All my relatives have a different version of Patates Salata, some add lemon juice instead of vinegar. Others relatives add beetroot/beet or fresh parsley or fresh mint or onions. This is the way I like it, quick, simple and mums recipe.

This recipe is great to use up the odds and ends of leftover pasta.
