My grandmother used to make this at Thanksgiving and Christmas to fill out the usual sweet potato casserole and dressing menu. This was always one of my favorites. It is very easy and very tasty! It is a good way to get your kids (and reluctant DH's) to eat their vegetables!

    Recipe #262821

I got this recipe from the Rachael Ray show. This is one of my all time favorite drinks. Just remember, a little goes a long way!!!!! Prep time is actually chill time for the glasses.

    Recipe #91182

A warm, spicy soup - I'm posting this a bit early; it's really a great fall and winter soup.

    Recipe #31749

This is a great way to use up some of your Thanksgiving and or Christmas leftovers.

    Recipe #4953

I love the idea of combining these two holiday favorites. Portions size: is based on 1/2 medium potato per person. Choose smaller or larger. Part way through the cooking I stuck a toothpic under the lid to prop it open to vent some of the steam and reduce the liquid. The original recipe did not specify high or low heat setting. *I started my crock on the low setting then kicked it up to high after a couple hours cuz I got nervous about the timing. (updates 11/2012)

If you want something different to do with the season's harvest of winter squash, try this delicious roasted side dish.

    Recipe #147381

This is such a warm and hearty, low carb soup. I would love to give credit for this recipe to my fellow low carbing message board friends.

Even tho there are only two ingredients in this recipe...they are wonderful...I was leary cause I am not a fan of pumpkin...but these muffins are wonderful!!!!!! My whole family Loved them!

    Recipe #43454

I have been mad about these cookies made at my local Earthfare store for three years, and this week I was finally able to weasel the recipe out of their baker!! These little gems are excellent for folks who have wheat allergies, and they are vegan (if you don't consider honey an animal product). I hope you enjoy these little goodies as much as I do! Be forewarned: the number of servings is an estimate from their baker, as at the store they make about 30 cookies the size of your head from this recipe. I HIGHLY recommend cutting it down some for your first try.

    Recipe #315101

This is always a hit with the family at holiday time.

I found this great recipe on the package of my fresh cut butternut squash. It looked yummy so I had to try it. The flavor of the roasted squash and apples with the crunch of the pecans is fantastic. This is a great way to get your family members to eat their veges. Enjoy.

I had an extra can of pumpkin pie left over from Thanksgiving, and when I saw this recipe, I knew I just had to try it. We love my Recipe #138786, BUT the pumpkin ravioli that I like to use from Whole Foods are SO EXPENSIVE!! Here's a simple and affordable alternative! This recipe was adapted from an online cookbook put out by Barilla pasta.

    Recipe #209543

British Isles-themed pot pie, based on a recipe by chef Jamie Oliver.

    Recipe #288297

My husband loves this one so much he asked a neighbor for it! We eat it at Thanksgiving. Although the original recipe calls it a casserole, it tastes more like a crisp to me. It's very sweet and desserty.

    Recipe #78006

Very easy to make and delicious. Make it up the day before and set in refrigerator over night. This is a great recipe from a great southern cook, Paula Deen.

    Recipe #117106

Here's another make-it-the-night-before breakfast casserole. You don't need syrup with this one. Prep time does not include refrigerating overnight.
