This recipe is from my Aunt. My Mom used to make it for special occasions when I was growing up. It is very tasty with many different kinds of fruit.

    Recipe #287010

I just love quesadillas and make mine in a quesadilla maker. This calls for using the oven.

    Recipe #282791

From Kraft Foods - Fantastic appetizer treat. Comes together easily and I've gotten rave reviews from friends when I serve this at parties. Allow time for 1 hour of refrigeration before serving.

    Recipe #279283

I searched here and there wasn't anything like what I was looking for. I used the insides of the potatoes to make Miller's Recipe #17415...just mix potatoes with chicken broth and salt and pepper.

    Recipe #251431

Another great recipe from Betty Crocker! These lil muffins are packed with the chili releno flavor, and are bite size, perfect for morning breakfast or an appetizer! Love this recipe

    Recipe #221368

I named this dish after my home town, Scarborough, in the North of England - and yes, they really do have a "Scarborough Fayre" every year! And, this recipe does contain "parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme"! This is a very old recipe for savoury bread pudding - often served before the meal, just as Yorkshire Pudding used to be, to take the edge of your appetite & stop you eating too much meat! I added the bacon, but normally it is just made with pounded stale bread mixed with herbs, chives or onions, eggs and any dripping that was available. A delicious savoury dish - serve it with lashings of onion gravy as a light supper, brunch or lunch dish, or as an appetiser, also with gravy. This makes a wonderful accompaniment to roast pork and roast chicken. I have also been known to eat slices of this cold & it's ideal for picnics. Don't throw your crusts away, but process them in a food mixer and freeze them in zip-lock bags.....voila, ready made bread crumbs!

    Recipe #217042

SOURCE PEGGY TROWBRIDGE. Plan on making a double batch for any party or occasion, especially Superbowl. Even guys ask for the recipe. Marinated ham and Swiss buns make a killer appetizer, and better yet, you can make them a couple of days in advance before baking. The cooking time does not include the overnight marination.

    Recipe #210910

These roll-ups are an addictive party food! Have the deli slice the salami and provolone into very thin slices. Make a day ahead for the best flavor.

    Recipe #186133

This recipe is adapted from a weight loss websites newsletter. Posted for 2006 Zaar World Tour - Mexico

    Recipe #176192

Found these on another site that was featuring Scandinavian foods. I made these and added some sauteed mushroom pieces to the sauce, and served this as a main dish over rice. They can also be served as an appetizer in a chafing dish to keep warm. Provide toothpicks for spearing them. My neighbor used to have a Cmas Eve openhouse and served these. She suffered a stroke and has become incapacitated so her recipe is lost. These, if I close my eyes, taste just like hers! So I dedicate this recipe to Joyce....a very dear friend.

    Recipe #171781

An interesting change from guacamole, served directly on tortilla chips or crackers. Add more hot pepper sauce for a bigger kick if you want! You can leave it plain or add one of the suggested toppings below. From Food and Drink Magazine.

    Recipe #167766

Found this recipe in a magazine, although I can't remember which one. Amounts given are for dried herbs.

This is a super easy and great tasting cheese ball. A friend shared this recipe with my mother some 30+ years ago and even though we may try another recipe - we just keep coming back to this one again and again. Cooking time is time to soften cheese and chill time.

    Recipe #149462

The snack of the 50s! Hey, it doesn't get any easier than this, folks, and I've yet to find anyone who doesn't love this once in awhile for a snack.

    Recipe #144626

Very flavorful. A different twist on the ol' deviled egg.

    Recipe #138136

Author Nicolae Klepper says that mititei were invented one evening at an inn called La Iordachi in Bucharest, known for its sausages, when the kitchen ran out of casings. Originally published in Saveur in 1998. Cooking time includes five hours chilling time.

    Recipe #137695

My favorite spinach dip recipe rolled in flour tortillas! My most requested appetizer recipe.

Had this in TEXAS a couple of years ago! My SIL Kathie turned me on to it! Sushi without the fish, Nori, and trouble of making it! OK she just had the soy but darn the pickeled ginger is so good! This is so quick and easy!!!!! It'll satisfy that I WANT SUSHI need! I myself can eat one a day!

    Recipe #128746

Fritters are very popular in the Middle East. They are eaten hot or at room temperature as a vegetable side dish or a meze. It couldn’t be simpler to make, but you can dress it up with optional garnishes of black olives, tomatoes, or hard-boiled egg. The perfect use for small, sweet new zucchini. Serve alone or with a creamy garlic-lemon yogurt sauce for a perfect complement to any spicy or grilled foods that call for a cooling accompaniment.

    Recipe #127269

I like creamy hummus, no chalky hummus for this girl! This is a slightly modified recipe from my favorite vegetarian book 1,000 Vegetarian Recipes. For enhanced flavor, use homemade tahini (see recipe #126641). The hummus must be prepared several hours in advance for best flavor. Do not substitute dried parsley for fresh.
