I was fortunate to take a dim sum class with world reknowned chef Joseph Poon in Philadelphia this morning. I was the only one who showed and had a 1 on 1 three hour lesson and quite a work out. I made 13 different types of dumplings, this was our favorite.
I first tried this buffalo chicken wing dip at my neighbor's picnic. A friend of theirs brought it and we munched on it all night til it was gone! I love this recipe for picnics, potlucks and tailgate parties. It's a much less messy way of enjoying chicken wings. My oldest son loves it. You can make it as spicy hot as you want...or leave it mild. It's best served warm, but you can also eat it cool.
I had this at a New Year's party and it was so good I had to get the recipe to share here. Can easily be divided into smaller amounts, frozen and re-heated in the oven or microwave. Fresh chopped onion can be substituted for the frozen and it is also good with chopped artichoke hearts added. Serve with crackers or melba toast.

Plan on making a double batch for any party or occasion, especially Superbowl. Even guys ask for the recipe. Marinated ham and Swiss buns make a killer appetizer, and better yet, you can make them a couple of days in advance before baking. The cooking time does not include the overnight marination.
These pot stickers are 100% better than any you can buy and well worth the extra effort. I like to make them and then freeze them so all you have to do is the final steps just before you serve them. I make them every Christmas to have as a quick appetizer. One review commented that she had trouble with them sticking together when she defrosted them - I have not had this happen however to be sure it doesn't happen to you defrost them separated. I have also fried them directly from the freezer. They only take a few seconds more to cook.
This is easy and always a big hit at my get togethers, it's great with mini meatballs or Lil Smokies, to make it ever more easier purchase ready made frozen cooked small meatballs or you can make your own and cook them first, I use recipe#69173 see bottom of recipe for baking times --- this is great to take to a potluck :)
An interesting change from guacamole, served directly on tortilla chips or crackers.
Add more hot pepper sauce for a bigger kick if you want!
You can leave it plain or add one of the suggested toppings below.

I got this recipe over 10 years ago from a friend at work. Since then, I have always had to make a double recipe for Thanksgiving. There is never any left. Just grab a few crackers and start dipping! I have only made this with an electric skillet. Also, I use the artichokes that are already quartered as they mix more easily than bigger chunks. Fat-free or low-fat mayonnaise is okay and helps reduce the fat content of the dip.
This is a super easy and great tasting cheese ball. A friend shared this recipe with my mother some 30+ years ago and even though we may try another recipe - we just keep coming back to this one again and again.
Cooking time is time to soften cheese and chill time.
This is the salsa recipe my husband brought back to me from a restaurant in Mexico City. I have tweaked it over the years to perfect the recipe to our our liking. I have discovered that hand-chopping the vegetables finely will produce the best texture and flavor. The flavor of this salsa will intensify over 24 hour period. If you like HOT leave recipe as is. If you enjoy a milder salsa, you might want to reduce the amount jalapeños.
