These are delicious little nibbles. I love their simplicity--they are quick to put together and can easily be made on the spur of the moment for an impromptu gathering, but can also be prepared up to a day ahead. The recipe is adapted from one published in "In Style" magazine. Prep time includes 15 minutes refrigeration time.

    Recipe #161852

From an old 1979 issue of Southern Living. My 21 year old son still requests this treat often.

    Recipe #38629

My favorite spinach dip recipe rolled in flour tortillas! My most requested appetizer recipe.

    Recipe #131168

Hey you Paula Deen fans, she has a new magazine, "Cooking with Paula Deen"--this recipe is from the premier issue. It was so yummy looking, I couldn't wait to try it. I added another 15 minutes to the cooking time suggested (30-35 minutes) and It was just right, but oven temperatures vary, so check on it during the last few minutes of cooking time. I'm also going to add a few dashes of cayenne pepper next time for something hot and sweet!

Easy, easy, easy and sooo good. This salty snack is a nice twist on how to serve a traditional cheese ball. The individual portions work well on a buffet table.

An easy savory appetizer that usually goes quickly. I have also used non-layer biscuits, cut into thirds and pressed into mini-muffin tins before topping with the filling.

    Recipe #75496

These are quick, fabulous, and definitely a crowd pleaser :) hope you enjoy them! They will keep in a tightly covered container for about 4 days, but they are best served right from the oven. Instead of using the herbs you can also try this recipe using poppy seeds or caraway seeds!

    Recipe #92496

This is one of our favorites...easy to throw together for company. I've been making it for years, really can't remember how it originated. I promised this year...I wouldn't wait for the Christmas Holidays before I made it again.

These savory little appetizers are geared to please the olive-lover in the crowd. Can be frozen before baking. If doing so, place directly into oven from freezer and extend the baking time by just a few minutes. Recipe from a clipping, author unsourced.

    Recipe #47939

I've been making this version so long I don't remember how it came about. I had to measure this out one day so my DIL could make it.

    Recipe #125771

This is great for a light lunch! Prep time doesnt include time to soak beans overnight.

This is a very different Tapa - it is almost like a potato salad - You'll like the flavor and it is great to serve along with other tapas. Serve 1/2 cup in small individual bowls . It is fun to have a tapa night when you are entertaining. There are lots of Tapas recipes here on Recipezaar. This recipe originated in Kraft's What's Cooking magazine

    Recipe #88481

Delicious little cheese parcels. Take my advice and double the recipe - there won't be any left.

If I get asked for this recipe one more time, I will scream - just kidding! This is a great do-ahead appetizer. A good recipe to have for your summer garden abundance (and parties!). Only 145 days til July!

    Recipe #19042

A tasty appetizer for those holiday parties that is very attractive and easy to make. For an interesting and healthy variation try using turkey bacon, light mayo and spinach as substitutes. I like this recipe because there are a lot of variations that can be made with this very basic idea. I hope you like these as much as my family, they disappeared in 5 minutes flat! Cook time is refridgeration time.
