This is the best salsa I have ever had. My best friend makes this and gave me the recipe. I've made it for numerous people and it's a hit every time. It's very addicting. You can make it as hot as you want by adjusting the Jalapenos. Enjoy!
We like to serve this with grilled peppers and toasted baguette. Edited to add: if you're using store bought wasabi paste, be aware that it is MUCH weaker, and if you want it to have a kick, you'll need to add quite a bit more.
Like tacos, only neater to eat. In Mexico, they're often deep-fried, but baking them works well too. It's easier and healthier, and the tortillas still turn golden brown and crispy around the edges. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
This is one of those "feel good" recipes. It is so tasty and easy to make it will also sure to please everyone. You can change it up and make it spicier or not so spicy for the kids. It is a nice dish to have for those Sunday games. The hubby will love you for it.
I found this recipe in my Mother's Recipe Box. It looks as though it was clipped from a magazine. The description to the recipe states as follows: " The Koran says that the fatal fruit in the Garden of Eden was a banana, not an apple. If Eve offered Adam banana fritters drenched in brandy sauce it's no wonder he succumbed to temptation."
Enjoy ; )
Plan ahead these eggs need to chill for at least 7 days before using, that is if you can wait that long, these are sooo good! Use beet juice or water, if you like extreme garlic flavor then add in another few cloves, the cayenne is optional I like to add it in for some heat, if you are using add it into the beet juice mixture.
Named in honor of the friend who introduced this recipe to me. It wouldn't be a party without Kitty's dip. I usually use a little more parmesan. I've also used the oscar meyer prepackaged bacon bits, which makes it much easier to prepare (and you get to eat it sooner!). There is never any left over. (In the photo, I used part of the bacon in the dip, then shaped it into a football shape and used the rest of the bacon bits on the outside as a coating. It was a hit at the superbowl party!)
A while ago there was a discussion of these types of sandwiches cooked in a bundt pan and I thought this one looked interesting and would be great for a get together - serve warm or at room temperature. Recipe source: local newspaper
Plan ahead these need to chill for 3 hours before serving, these are really good! Make certain that eggs are completely cooled before slicing in half and butter is very soft but not melted, you can adjust all ingredients to taste
Forget the hot mayonnaise -- this is cheesy and luscious. People who don't like spinach-artichoke dip come back for more and more again. I've never taken it to a potluck without having to write down the recipe for someone.
These are really good served with sweet and sour sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. If you like them a little more creamy just add more cream cheese.Sometimes I also add a little cheddar cheese into the filling. This recipe is from the wonton wraps package. Quantity and time is an estimate.
This makes an easy appetizer or weekend snack! feel free to flavor the cream cheese mixture as you desire, how about taco seasoning mix or dry ranch dressing mix, or purchased flavored cream cheese! The servings is only estimated, it will depend on the size you slice the rolls, if you slice them 1-1/2 inch thick you will get about 50 small rolls, slice them to whatever size desired. Plan ahead the rolls need to chill 1 hour before slicing.
A great take on guacamole! Serve with toasted pita chips or scooped onto crostini or grilled chicken, steak, or salmon! Recipe courtesy of The Olives Table by Todd English and Sally Sampson and published in Delicious Living magazine.
