This is a tasty spread to serve with crackers or toasted bread.

    Recipe #126682

I found this recipe in a Simple and Delicious Magazine and changed it to suit our tastes.

    Recipe #245490

Posted here for safe-keeping because my daughter is considering a French theme for her wedding next year, and I'm searching for possible menu items. This is from the bhg website.

    Recipe #257768

A delightful and very elegant summer starter dish that is fresh and easy to make. The combination of the parmesan cheese with the hazenut oil and black olives is a very sophisticated flavour, making this a wonderful dish to serve before any special summer dinner party. If you cannot get hold of hazelnut oil, walnut oil would be a good substitute. Green olives can also be used, but the colours will not be so dramatic! Try to use FRESHLY grated/shaved parmesan cheese from a block, the taste is far better than the pre-packed grated cheese. Wine suggestion - a chilled Chablis or Chardonnay.

    Recipe #315903

A WONDERFUL cheesy crispy cookie for a snack or make into straws and have with soup. Well seasoned for the "just right" taste and flavor. Do include all seasonings as they enhance the flavor. We are a third generation family enjoying these cheese wafers or cheese krispies as some of us call them. A great appetizer for parties or weddings. They go well with coffee, fruit drink or a cocktail. Note: Put only 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder if you don't like it very hot.

    Light lunch

    Recipe #33764

Make ahead. Great blend of flavors for a zippy salad, spread, or dip. Be sure to allow for refrigeration to get the best melding of ingredients. Can't remember the origin of this recipe; made some ingredient and amount changes. For dip: double the dressing. Cooking time is chilling time.

Flavored butters are a much-favored condiment for me & this one from *The Carnival Experience* by Peter Leypold (Exec Chef of Carnival Cruise Lines) can be used often w/filet mignon, tenderloin, grilled gourmet burgers or on baguette bread to accompany a soup or salad course. *Enjoy* !

    Recipe #335170

A football tradition started several Superbowl Sundays ago. A good basic dip that is easy to make. I got it from some magazine I think.

Delicious dip to serve with fresh vegetables.

    Recipe #21005

If you like hot and spicy...I am not kidding when I say these things are AMAZING! A co-worker made loads of these at Christmas, and I believe I ate my weight in them! I was very surprised by the way these are made after getting her recipe. A few important notes - Do not substitute regular Ritz for the whole wheat, they will not turn out the same for some reason. And the Fiesta Ranch packets can be a bit hard to find, depending on where you live, Food Lion always has it in stock. Make sure you marinate the full 3 days...my friend said the longer they sit, the better they are, but I cant seem to wait past the 3 days. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

    Recipe #276400

These are really easy appetizers that you can make a few days in advance, and bake them the day they are needed. I am not a fan of onions, but these are delicious.

    Knorr's website recipe

    Recipe #202849

A simple appetizer that always looks impressive. Can be made up to 1 day in advance. Keep refrigerated. This uses one large packet of the smoked sliced salmon that you find in the deli. The appetizers should look similar to small sushi rolls

    Recipe #271457

The first time I ever went to visit my friend Alan's family, his mom had made pralines. She is from Louisiana and made the best pralines! One night, I got hungry for them and did a quick search and found this OH SO EASY recipe!

This mixture goes great on tacos or as a salsa.

    Recipe #16101

This is such a great recipe. It is easy and is so good! I get asked to make this for holiday parties. One tip - remember to take it out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before serving or it will break your crackers. You can use 2 cans of shrimp in place of the frozen salad shrimp.

    Recipe #291554

Another recipe from the Potato Board pamphlet that I have not yet tried. This sounds like an interesting savory pancake with a combination of yummy veggies! With the bread crumbs and lack of flour, they sound more like a 'patty' than a pancake.

    Recipe #328885

This is really easy to make and is great as an appetizer or snack!
