A red hot chilli condiment used mainly to add heat to meals without adding any other flavour at all, wonderful to use with curries! or any other meal you want to add an extra kick to. only a small amount is often required - so be careful!!!

    Recipe #457839

The onions are sauteed until caramalized, and add a full and rich flavor offset by the creamy Gorgonzola, the toasted walnuts and the earthy sage. You can make the confit in advance. You can make your own pizza dough, buy it in the grocery store, or sometimes your local pizza place will sell you some. For a delicious variation, use basil instead of sage. Adapted from Fields of Greens cookbook.

    Recipe #447686

France and Mexico meet in this recipe. I've not tried brie cheese yet, so I'd like to try this sometime. For Zaar World Tour II 2006

    Recipe #171325

This is a nice twist to the traditional baked brie in puff pastry. I find that the phyllo lends to a more elegant presentation. Phyllo is not that tricky to work with - just keep the sheets that you aren't working with covered with plastic wrap and a damp towel. We traditionally use a 300 gram wheel of Triple Cream Brie, which converts to about .66 of a pound. Because of the size of the phyllo sheets (about 12" x 18"), you could likely use up to a pound of brie.

A special recipe for Escargots Bouguigon fans. These are the best escargots.(snails) I found this recipe in a Québec site and it changes the rubbery texture you get with canned escargots. Recipe #42609

This is a cute finger food for a party. I buy the proscuitto that's prepackaged in the fancy cheese section of the supermarket. From there I just trim each of the thin slices to fit in the mini muffin tin. Don't be tempted to add salt to the ricotta mixture; the proscuitto is salty enough to carry over. Enjoy!
