I love this recipe because you can substitute a lot of the ingredients for the full version or skinny version and they both taste equally great! Warning, you'll want to skip the crackers and eat it with a fork. yea, it's that good.
Be sure to warn you teetotaler guests that they may want to stay away from the tomatoes. These are especially attractive on a festive holiday table. It's also fun when your non teetotaler friends bite into them. You could serve them as an appetizer. Sprinkle a little parsley over them before serving
We are a family of garlic-lovers however I don't recommend using more than 1 teaspoon fresh garlic as it will overpower the cheese mixture, or omit the garlic totally. These make great appetizers to serve at a get together, to save time you can prepare the cheese mixture up to a day in advance, cover and refrigerate, and you can fill the crescent rolls, slice and chill for up to 2 hours in advance. Recipe may be doubled if desired.
Fast fix up makes broccoli not the same old same old! My teens love this and will only eat broccoli like this or smothered in cheese- this is healthier! I created this recipe after the broccoli served at my fave Chinese place. The variety of ingredients apply to many regional cuisines such as Italian, Asian and SW.
This is one of my favorite empanada dough recipes. You can fill the pastry with your choice of fruit filling or meat, whichever you prefer. I like to cook shredded pork in my crockpot and fill these pies and serve with a warm sauce and my Recipe #186079. You can't go wrong with this recipe.
My good friend Donna brought this to our Thanksgiving feast this year 2006' and it was the hit of the table. Not only is it low calorie but tastefully delicious. Made a great presentation, Thanks for sharing Donna. NOTE: The system would not allow me to put in the exact amount of the pkt of Dressing.... So when making this use only 1/2 pkt
This is one of our favorites...easy to throw together for company. I've been making it for years, really can't remember how it originated. I promised this year...I wouldn't wait for the Christmas Holidays before I made it again.
This is a recipe I created by combining all the ingredients I liked in other Ceviche recipes. Turn out to be a hit! Everyone loves it. I make this ahead of time and take it out on our boat. Served in plastic cups. Remember to keep chilled. This can be served as elegant or casual as you like. I've served it in anything from plastic cups to Martini glasses or even in brandy glasses for a more special presentation. Cook time does not include marinating the shrimp.
