This is a copy cat recipe from Todd Wilbur and his www.TopSecretRecipes.com site. I made these for my husband and I and they are just like the ones from Chili's. So good, I am sure you will enjoy them. It is a little time consuming but worth every second.

I was looking for make ahead appetizer for the holidays and found this one. It's hard enough during those times to get the "meal" on the table. I thought I'd make it a bit easier on the appetizers!

This I've been making for years and it 's never ever the same. This year I used balsamic vinegar and sundried tomatoes which brings the basic caponata up to date with our changing tastes. This if your are not familiar with this appetizer (relish) dip or spread it 's salty, sweet, tangy has lots of texture from celery, eggplant, onions, garlic, olive, capers, and pine nuts. This is very complex! Serve it on fresh Italian sliced bread or crackers or as a relish on a sandwich. You can even toss it into a small pasta to make a pasta salad. Check out recipe #103124. In years gone buy I did can in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.I like to jar and give as gifts.

Lots of flavor and texture. This I made quick and easy by using shrimp already cooked and peeled, the dough I used Pillsbury pizza crust, bought shredded cheese and use prewashed baby spinach.

Your guests will love this incredible and easy to prepare cocktail sauce. It is mild in character but you can bump it up with the Tabasco if you wish, or, simply make up two separate batches -- "one hot, one not." The Creole mustard is the key ingredient so don't skip it!

Make certain to purchase a very crusty bread loaf to make slicing easier. You can use French or Italian crusty bread but rustic or ciabatta is better! When you taste this cheese bread, I know that you will be making it all the time, so make a double recipe of the cheese mixture excluding the green onion and store one batch in the freezer for up to 2 months (trust me the mixture will be used up long before the 2 months!) when ready to use defrost in the fridge overnight and just add in the finely chopped green onions, this cheese mixture freezes very well!

A Great Appetizer or side. My roasted asparagus recipe below do have salt I do suggest to go easy or omit it in the roasting as the prosciutto is salty. This is great at room temperature so it can be prepared ahead of time. Or make with left over asparagus.
