I don't know about you, but I'm so frustrated with salsa in a jar. We were so surprised to find out our favorite restaurant salsa contained only 4 ingredients!!
My husband and I have tried every type there is - from big brand names to local brands. We have been searching for a salsa that tastes like what we get at our favorite local mexican restaurants. In the past, I've tried making my own but it hasn't been any better than store bought. Now I've found it though. One of our local restaurants posted their recipe on the wall...though it was for a 6 pound can of tomatos. So I've had to guess at amounts, but it turns out yummy everytime. ADDICTING!!
And best of all it's only 4 ingredients!!!
www.TopSecretRecipes.com I was totally addicted to these tacos when I was a teen-ager, I remember going through the drive-thru and ordering a big bag of these for all my friends (in the back seat, necking).I'm guessing at the prep and cook times. This is from Top Secret Recipes by Todd Wilbur.
A slightly "mock" rendition of White Castles sliders, but we think only better. Great "kid" sized burgers or even better for "adult" sized snacks! NOTE: since posting this recipe I have found out that Pepperidge Farm no longer makes the small rolls in the pans so therefore use your own disgression on which rolls are available to you but I do suggest that you use a small size like a dinner roll in order to get the full "White Castle" affect!
This is a quick and easy to make appetizer. They go fast!! This is a great potluck treat. Servings are approximate, depends on how many each person eats, but I have never felt like "I didn't bring enough".
These are wonderful! My cousin brought them as an appetizer for Thanksgiving dinner one year, and I got the recipe. I make them for work parties, and even quick snacks at home. You can always make more or less by using more or less cream cheese and crescent rolls! Trust me, these are excellent!
Trust me you will be craving this often once you try it! --- you may use regular white salt but the seasoned salt is better, also use as much cheese and tomato slices as desired, I sometimes add in some chopped sweet yum yum pickles to the tuna filling too --- low-fat mayonnaise and cheese may be used :)
These are delicious! the following ingredients are for 6 sandwiches. Make certain to use a firm bread like Italian, pumpernickle or rye, the regular soft sliced sandwich bread will not hold up well to this.
I had these at a party today and I couldn't quit eating them. I'm not a big fan of black olives or chilies but these were incredible. Very popular with everyone. Cook time is refrigeration time. (In response to reviews, I use Old El Paso taco mix and Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix and have never had any complaints about the saltiness. HTH!)
I got this recipe from Las Casas restaurant in Temple, TX. They claim to be famous for these White Wings...I'd never heard of them til I moved to this area, but I will say the White Wings are outstanding!!
My family loves grilled cheese so when they asked for it I wanted to try something new. This was the best grilled cheese, nice crunchy bread with melted cheese. I had to post this so I wouldn't forget it. Family loved it served with homemade milkshakes and fries. This is a great way to make a bunch at one time and the clean-up was nothing. ;)
